younger guys in the sales dept are awesome. avoid the older ones like they should
be in florida. same day same truck:a.m. old sales guy no deal and a real !!!^^p.m.
younger guy went in at 8pm they close at 9pm i left at 11:15pm. got the same
truck i was denied earlier. salesman and manager kept all repair promises to
the letter including some details i forgot! i couldn't be more happy they almost
rebuilt the truck to new spec. new paint repaired all mechanical and body glitches.
i'm pinching myself as to my hopefully long term good fortune. wish all of the
past 20 vehicles i have purchased could have been this good. by the way find
a salesman from newfoundland as they are the most honest people you will ever
meet.
love my truck, ya!ya! almost love my salesman

I bought my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 back in Nov.`98. I love my Dodge
Truck. This was my first new vehicle purchase and I feel I learned a lot from
the experience. I learned that if you are not happy with what is occurring in
your dealings, that there is plenty more fish in the pond. The Service Department
has been a bumpier story. While under warranty my thermostat housing was in
the shop twice for antifreeze leaks and within two months of each repair the
leaks occurred again. I am a licensed mechanic my self and once the warranty
expired I replaced the gasket my self and to this day it is still sealed. I
now do all the servicing and repairs to the truck my self since the warranty
has expired. The Parts Department is where I have enjoyed my visits the most.
I constantly have good luck dealing with Timothy. The only time I had a problem
was when Tim mispicked a oil filter and I had to bring it back. He exchanged
the filter and gave me an extra one for the mix up and my time. He always is
able to take the time to answer any questions I may have.
I love my Dodge Truck and am enjoying this website.

The mechanics have no idea what it is there doing. The car I bought had some
glitches as soon as I bought it. Of course they failed to tell me my car had
been in a small accident and the paint job was not well done. There was no compensation.
You buy it, it's your problem. When I went to get service work done, none of
it was under warranty. I had to argue with them to no avail. On one instance
they practically accused me of four by fouring in my intrepid. It's a full size
car not a truck!! On a second occasion my horn did not work and they deemed
it as electrical and again it was not warranty work. Of course I went and got
new horns and voila they work. The auto body shop was excellent however and
I had a good experience with them.
The service department at crosstown is something you should avoid like the plague.
take it somewhere else.

Took a truck out for a test drive on my way through Edmonton. The sales manager
insisted that I had have a credit application in and put a deposit on the truck
before he could let it go out on a test drive. I gave them my visa believing
that it was just for insurance. When I returned the credit app. was approved
but the trade in they were giving for my vehicle was not acceptable so I did
not buy it. They kept the deposit and would not reimburse it. Very pushy and
misrepresented the deposit purpose.

Well, where to start. I bought my Dakota from legal motors in 2002. They beat
Crosstown's "best price" by $5000 without me even telling them I was
dealing at Crosstown. I only used Crosstown's service because it was close to
work. During a regular oil change they told me that my tranny was leaking. They
had the vehicle in 3 times, each time for over 24 hours, and they still could
not fix the problem. They did not have a courtesy vehicle and the shuttle took
and average of 2 hours to drive me home although I'm 15 min away. After the
fourth visit they told me there was no leak. This, even though I had been adding
fluid.
One visit back to legal and they found and fixed the problem without and fuss.
To top it off Crosstown left a toolbox and tool under my hood and slammed the
hood on it! It left a small dent in the hood that the manager denied seeing
and I still have the tool. They paid me lip service over the phone, but when
I gave them the vehicle again, they did not do anything. In addition, the other
warranty work they were supposed to have done needed to be redone, including
a new blower motor. I have no way to verify they even did the work in the first
place. Seems very shady, not to mention incompetent.
They should change their sign to Double-crosstown Motors.

I will never buy another Dodge again. I recently bought a 2000 Durango RT 56,000km,
this truck was mint; we drove it for 2 months put less then 2000km on it and
the engine went. The dealership is not being very helpful. They have had our
truck in there shop for 18 days know and are still trying to make a decision
weather to cover it or not.

Bought two Grande Cherokees and a 2003 Cummins powered Quad cab since 1996.
When I went to get a fifth wheel hitch put in we found that the box was not
centered ( it was out to the RH side by about 1" I took it back to the Dealer
and it was repaired immediately and with an apology for not catching it on the
Dealer prep.
