I wasn't sure if I should try these guys out for service since reading other
posts on this site but thought that things might be different after it being
12 years. I have heard from a few of my clients that years ago,when there was
different ownership, some very questionable stories
were reported about dealings with this business. Wow what new ownership will
do for a dealership!! Overall my experience with Mountview yesterday was a pleasant
one. The main situation I was worried about involved removal of spark plugs
that were the original(8 years old)ones. I don't know why anyone would leave
plugs in for that long??! It wasn't an easy job for the tech., one even snapped
as it was being removed, separating into a core and threaded pieces. The tech.
knew exactly what to do and swapped them with the new ones. I've done plugs
on vehicles many times but was glad I decided to leave it to the pros there.

Our truck was just under 2 yrs. old & had about 500km until the warranty
ran out. My check engine light came on & I tried to get the truck in before
warranty ran out, but they couldn't do. So with 200km's over I was able to bring
it in & was told to file for a reimbursement& I should be covered. HA!
While waiting for word on that, we found that the $900 we shelled out hadn't
fixed the problem! So we had to put out another $700 to fix it. They had our
truck for most of the Christmas holidays, & we find that it hadn't even
been touched, cuz the tranny guy was gone! Anyway we had to get a loan to pay
for the last part of the work & finally heard that we weren't being reimbursed
for any of our work, because of the K's on it! After fighting with them they
gave us just under 1/2 of the $900 & we are still out for the payment of
the work that did fix the truck. In short the service & mechanics have no
idea what they are doing & have no problem taking your money before fixing
it right! Never trust this dealership, I won't.
I will consider purchasing another dodge vehicle, but definitely not from here
& I'll never service it or any of my vehicles here!

bought by cummins there(good deal and trade)..lift pump quit on it a week later.
they immediately took one off of another truck and i was back on the road in
less than 2 hours.....nice and thanx.

We have gone back to Dodge after having Ford and Chev. and expect to have a
high degree of satisfaction again.

We bought a used 1993 voyager from mountview. A few months later, we were getting
it serviced at Canadian Tire and they told us it needed a head gasket and would
probably cost 7-800 dollars. We were upset, so we called Mountview and they
asked us to bring it in so they could look at it. Upon inspection and some testing,
they determined it is fine and needs nothing. It has been running trouble free
and we are grateful we got a second opinion. Thank you.

I took my 2001 dodge to Mountainview to be serviced and told them of the noise
in the transmission. I am mechanic and I knew something was definitely wrong,
but being woman when I told the service manger about the noise and my credentials
he mocked me and basically told me I was daft. So I phoned Dodge who just echoed
his sentiments. Then I went to Fernie Chrysler because it was under warranty
and I wanted it fixed when they took the tranny apart it was burnt up, now this
vehicle had 15,000 Kms. on it at the time and had no heavy work so they fixed
it with a smile and I was happy.
Women aren't stupid and we have money and can buy cars too I hope Dealerships
realize that we are the majority not a minority.

We have bought/leased many vehicles from Mountview. We have had a few problems(very
few) and have never been let down by their service. We would recommend them
to anyone that is looking for no B.S. service.

out rather than speaking to me.

Had a problem with my cummins I bought from them..problems are never any fun,
but the way they handled me and got me going again reminds me of why I buy there.
I always feel welcome there and am never pressured.
