Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
We came into Calgary from out of town looking for a used Durango and found 2 that we liked. We talked to a salesman and told him we were only in town for the day so we would look around more. We called back and made an offer - we were told that they would get right back to us - had to talk to manager - never called back for 3 days. He said that he couldn't get through because he didn't realize it was a long distance number. People that smart maybe shouldn't be working with the public.

Just taken delivery of a 2003 Dodge Dakota and am unable to rate the vehicle itself but cannot say enough about the sales department of Tower Chrysler . Both the salesperson and the vehicle manager were very pleasant to deal with .No sales pressure and I felt comfortable through the entire transaction . If I choose to service the vehicle at Tower I feel I would receive the same level of customer service . I may choose to have it service elsewhere as there is Dodge dealer closer to home .

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
I bought a 1997 Dodge pickup from them it was suppose to be gone over and passed the safety inspection from Alberta. When I had to get it inspected in B.C. it failed miserably(ball joints, mirror, driving lights etc.)
they wouldn't do anything about it until threatened with bad press, then and only then did they say take it to the Fernie Chrysler dealership and have it checked. Fernie found that it wouldn't pass, so after many costly drives and conversations they did pay for some of it but not all.

Sales=Good, Service=Don't Know,
I bought a 1998 Plymouth Breeze from these guys, and for the most part the sales experience was ok. I was first intimidated, but the sales person (Ron Santos) was quite pleasant. I felt he could've gotten me a better deal though. He wasn't pushy or anything, but could have been more informed about the vehicle. I asked him how to set the trip odometer (press the little button to get trip odometer, then hold for a second or two) and he didn't know. I also asked him where the rear vents were (underneath the front seats) for the a/c and heat, and again he didn't know. Even though I was adamant about purchasing a brand new vehicle, he showed me a couple of used vehicles and told me that I could save even more cash by buying used (this is a good point; I could've considered another vehicle instead of the Breeze; expanding the selection).
When I went to pick up my vehicle, they had it all ready to go. It was washed (too bad it snowed heavily the day I picked it up!) and detailed, plus a full tank of gas.
I never took my car there for service, it was kind of far from where I live and would've been inconvenient for me to pick up my car. So I can't say whether the service dept. was good or bad. I used to go to the parts dept. a lot for parts, but I found that Courtesy Chrysler has them beat hands down (Courtesy usually has the parts in stock).
I was somewhat disappointed with the finance manager, they set me up with a reasonable monthly payment but I wanted to take advantage of the grad rebate program, even though I was only a couple of months out of eligibility. I asked her if she could plead with DC for me to get that rebate (since this was my first new car and I chose DC over the competition); she told me that she would call me regardless of whether DC gave the thumbs up or turned me down. Guess what ? She never did.
If they had the right vehicle I wanted (new or used), I would not hesitate in going back.
