Sales=Don't Know, Service=Excellent, bought there=No,
I noticed all the, "It took two weeks to repair" comments and had to justify why. If you live in a town that only has 1 Dodge dealership, and there are numerous Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep vehicles in the area, don't you kind of expect to have a little wait? And don't they try to make the appts at a convenient time? They did for me. Yeah I had to wait for the parts to come in, and I had to wait my fair amount of time, but they were honest, fixed the problems and even showed me what exactly was wrong, not just told me and expected me to understand. I live in Fairbanks and will continue to support my local dealer.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
Good service department. Reliable guys and honest. Sometimes in winter it takes a bit to get in for work. Good deal on the oil changes only 24.95. Cheaper then rippylube who use junky filters. Best diesel guy in the state, Vern is a real mechanic. My truck never ran better after he worked on it. These guys try hard to satisfy people, from other comments around people take it to Gene's or they do it themselves. Prices are fair and sales staff is helpful. Service writers and manager are good and approachable.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
Had truck for almost 2 weeks, called on first day to tell me caliper bolts were gone. The just charged me $300 three months prior for a brake job. Told me it would be a week to get new bolts. Also they replaced a leaking radiator and ball joints on both sides. While driving it home, the engine overheated. There was no anti-freeze in the radiator! Dealer had vehicle towed back to dealership to be looked at again.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
Took 2 weeks to get an appointment for them to fix my transmission problem, truck dies in reverse. All they did was reset my engine light and told me nothing was wrong (no codes in computer). Right out of there driveway the light comes back on, problem with the truck dying was still there. Another 2 weeks go buy for an appointment. The same thing happens..!!!!. I found on the internet the OBDII diagnostic codes and found my truck would blink the code "23" which was the "no lockup on low rpm" or something like that. I was so furious when they told me it would be another 2 weeks for repair, I blew up. Finally they took me in that day, and I presented all the information I found. They looked at me like I was some sort of idiot. Then my truck was fixed, go figure. I have other occurrences and friends with equally disturbing stories. One buddy takes his truck all the way to Anchorage to have it serviced, won't even talk to Gene's anymore.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
My new 1998 truck broke down took them two weeks to fix. Still was not right Said that they put a part on order and would call me never called in 6 months. I called about the part every week on to here the same answer still on order. The came the big on what part.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
Very dissatisfied with the service department. Totally unwilling to work with me to solve a warranty dispute. Claimed that my truck could not be fixed under warranty even though it only had 11000 miles. The maintenance department told me it would be three weeks before they would look at the problem. After repeated calls to Chrysler they looked at the truck and said they would not fix it.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
