I have a 1994 Dodge Grand caravan LE that i purchased. The transmission has
always had problems. When you are coming to a stop you would get bump as it
shifted down to 1st gear. If you come to a rolling stop and start to accelerate
you get a jerk shift. Stan McCulloch Chrysler Dodge could not fix the problem.
Most of the work has been done by Huntsville Dodge Alabama. They have reprogrammed
the computer changed the oil in transmission several times. Even though i did
not buy the dodge from them. I even purchased the extended warranty from Huntsville
Dodge because of this problem.
Most of the time when i took the car in they never wrote a ticket. Now that
i have 94000 + miles on the car they tell me that particular transmission in
the 1994 and 1995 have manufacturing defects. They said even if they rebuilt
the transmission they could not fix all of the problems. I think Dodge should
repair or replace the transmission since they knew they were defective. I would
like t! o mention that the Huntsville Dodge service department made an effort
to fix the problem based on what Dodge told them. I would like for you to send
a copy of this to Dodge.
I am not the only Dodge owner with these problems. They even sent out a trouble
shooter to ride in the Van but could not find the problem.

I think when a service dept. can decide you are at fault for a missing part
under your new 4 wheel drive dodge ram tough truck just because is dirty, i
think it time to change dealerships. the part is called a vapor canister, found
under truck mounded on frame, and is a $189.00 piece of plastic with labor.

took truck in for service and left truck there returned (without a phone call
from the dealership that it was ready)and noticed that the truck had been hit
by something so i reported this to the service manager and all he could say
was too bad not our problem still not repaired and they never fixed the stalling
rough idling poor shifting lack of power or the rotors this service center and
dealership sucks and should not sell anyone anything and not be able to oil
a bike chain the most unhappy time of my life has been owning this truck and
trying to get it to act like a truck. "$28,000.00" what a joke of
a truck and even a bigger joke of a stealership i should have bought a FORD
at least i would own something "A TRUCK".
stan away from decatur dodge dealer Stan McCulloch needs taken out of the auto
sales. wished i could park this thing in the show room if you know what i mean.

I had lost a part from under this 4-wheel drive truck and the service manager
said mud could have caused this problem. I bought a 4-wheel drive truck so I
could take it in the mud if needed, and he told me it was not covered and I
would have to pay for it to be replaced. I had even bought the extended warranty
but the truck only have a few thousand miles on it at the time. My sister in
law works for Chrysler and she has told everybody she knows not to buy from
Stan McCullouch because of the way they did me on my new truck. I have took
my business to Florence.
