I walked in to buy a truck and the best they could do was MSRP less the current rebate. When I mentioned internet pricing, the sales rep looked at me like I had 2 heads and said NO. So I took my business and money to Midfield Dodge in Birmingham and got the truck I wanted at a fair price.
I have had some trouble with the rear axle howling. The first time I took it in, they agreed there was a problem, but couldn't schedule me for almost 3 weeks. Then it took them a week to do the repairs. Then a month later, the rear axle starts making noise again. So I make an appointment and take it in. After they have it for 2 days, they call me and tell me it doesn't make any noise. In essence they called my a liar. When I pointed this out to the service manager he copped attude and told me to just take my business elsewhere.
PS Thornton has a reputation in Florence as being the dealer to avoid. I now drive the extra distance to take my truck elsewhere!

The service rep was the worst I have ever dealt with. Must have been kinfolks. This was for a recall. Another experience was a 4 hour repair job that took 8 days I'll never deal with this dealer again.
