first experience with service bad, took the day off to have vehicle worked on, brought it in at appointed time,waited all day for them to let me know something only to find out last minute they had not even looked at it. took two more appointments to get the problem fixed. This time I made appointment several days in advance, was told to bring it in as early as possible.took it in at 8:30 am. Checked on it that evening, they had not even looked at it. Service advisor phoned me the next afternoon told me they had found out what popping noise was caused by and it was covered under warranty, said they checked my transmission and it was fine,said I needed new front brake pads ($156.00) and rear pads were fine but needed cleaning ($54.00).I let him know I had a coupon for the brakes he said that was fine.He said I had a leak in left rear shock that it was covered under warranty but would have to be ordered, I agreed to that.He said total would be around $200.00 before my coupon. I agreed, he said they would get started.That was Friday. Vehicle was done the next tuesday. I could not get off work in time to pick it up so my mom picked it up for me.They charged $393.97 (with coupon) Almost twice the estimate. Found that they had charged me for a water pump that I knew nothing about, and a transmission service that I had not agreed to, or had even been asked about. I phoned service manager, he said the water pump had been a mistake that they had replaced it but that it should have been covered under warranty. He agreed to refund me the $87.45 for that. I asked him about the transmission service that I had not agreed to. He stated that the service advisor said that he had quoted me a price of $380.00 that included the transmission service. I told him that that was absolutely not true and that if the service advisor had of recommended the service I would have declined, knowing that I could get the job done cheaper somewhere else. He told me to come in to his office and talk to him when I get off. I did, and he did not even speak to me. He handed my paperwork to the service advisor and said take Mrs. Nickell to the cashier to get her $87.45. He did not even give me a chance to talk with him any further. They also charged me $40.00 in taxes on the full amount (prior to coupon and removal of water pump), rather than re-doing the ticket so that the taxes would reflect the new total. I will never be able to trust them over the phone again, for now on any price quotes will be put in writing with mine and their signatures. The service manager did not seem to be concerned with the fact that he has a dishonest employee working in his dept. I would like to know where I need to take this complaint since it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. It is frightening to think that you can be charged for things you did not agree to, I guess I am fortunate that he didn't replace the transmission! Also, popping noise (original reason I took it in) is still present.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, Bought my second truck in nine months from this dealer. Salesman John Cowan knows Dodge trucks and can talk country or city. Wouldn't hesitate on recommending to anyone looking for a good used or new Ram truck.
