Tempe Dodge knows how to sell but you can't get in for service. In an emergency, you can't get in either. Their idea of getting you in, is about a week at a minimum. We bought two Dodge trucks new from them, and they will not ever get our business again. They would not take my truck in for a problem with the transmission in that happened intermittently and also with an engine check light occurring when it happened. They couldn't be bothered. I can't be bothered to bother with them. Same experience with our 1999 Dodge Diesel--you simply couldn't get it in for service. If you have somebody to drop it off for the day of their choice, and come back. Also as a female, I notice in my few visits to Tempe Dodge Service dept, that the females taking in appointments kowtow to the men and give much less attention (ignore!) to the women.

used this dealer to perform the towing hitch recall on my 1999 Ram 3500, which called for installation of (2) brackets to tie the receiver into the frame. a very simple job, but the truck was ready when promised and the service appointment went smooth overall.

Arrived at 7:00 a.m. for a scheduled service. (power flush coolant, change transmission fluid, rotate and balance tires) stated that I would be waiting since I live 200 miles away. Seven and a half-hours later service was finally done. Lied to about status of my car work. Will not return to this dealer.

I am exceptionally happy with Tempe Dodge. I first went to Tempe Dodge and spent about an hour test driving and getting a quote. Then, just to check out a another dealer I went to Earnhardts. They treated me just fine and everything went as well as can be expected. But the one thing that really irritated me is the fact that they not only wouldn't match the price from Tempe Dodge, but they said that Tempe Dodge really wouldn't do the price either. Earnhardts insured me that I had a bogus quote and that if I brought back my purchase order after I bought the truck, that they would give me a tank of gas. So I just took my paperwork to them to show them that I really got what I wanted, and now nobody remembers their promise. FIGURES!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased 3 vehicles from them. My first was a 1995 Ram Club Cab, then a 2001 Ram Quad Cab that I just traded for a new 2003 Ram 1500 Quad Cab. They advertised that every 2003 Ram Pickups on the lot was 25% OFF during the sale and that 3.9% APR was available also. When I arrived, it was just like they said it would be. I got the new 2003 Ram for under $21,000 and they gave me $16,200 for my trade. I was very pleased with the deal and even more pleased with my new Ram. It really drives great! All in all, I have been very satisfied with both the sales and service departments at Tempe Dodge. They seem fair and friendly and I have recommended them to my friends. I do know that they are a 5 Star dealership whatever that is.

Tempe had lots of trucks outfitted the way I wanted them. Had an appointment with fleet department with a good quote. In Saturday's paper they had a ad for the truck I wanted $1000 less than the quote from fleet. I called the fleet department and they said to talk to the regular sales department. They said come on down. Went down and they were telling me that the trucks advertised were used with 500miles on them. I told them if you beat the fleet price I will by right now. The manager and salesman go away for 20 minutes and come back with a price $2000 over what fleet quoted me. I got mad. They quickly gave me a price $300 under the fleet price. If I had to do it over again go with fleet. When the sales manager called me a week later, he wanted to make sure that I gave them Very Satisfied on the Chrysler survey. I told them I wasn't and the problems I had. He started bribing me with free oil changes or a free dash mat. I haven't returned the survey either I am honest and score them accordingly, or I will give it to them blank and tell them to lie and get free stuff. Moral go with fleet over the internet.
