I would like to thank all of my customers for saying the good things about this
dealership. As of July 2003, I have taken over the service dept. We still have
a long way to go but I welcome any past customers to come in and talk to me
about past problems, perhaps I can do something to help change perception of
the service dept. We are here to serve our customers, buying from us or not.

These people were great to deal with, my Caravan broke down in Profit River,
and was towed in. They were booked solid for two weeks, however squeezed a diagnostic
in due to cancellation. Parts were not in stock, but they found some from Dawson,
and sent someone to pick it up that day! Some guy (Gean?) worked overtime to
get it done, and put me back on the road that evening. I was greatly appreciative,
especially after reading some of these comments...My husband was so thrilled,
you do not get customer service like that every day! We bought them doughnuts
the next morning before heading out!!-they went above and beyond for us--THANKS!!

These guys always go the extra mile for me and my husband, we have bought 4
vehicles there, and will continue to do so. We always call our salesman if we
have a problem, and he takes care of it. There is also a fabulous customer service
girl, who takes care of many problems, she helped my brother revamp $ from roadside
when they stiffed his tow bill. Perhaps some people should try to talk to their
salesman to get problems resolved, it has paid time and time again for my husband
and I to buy locally.
Parts department should follow up special ordered parts when they come in though.

I just wanted to say that the customer service manager actually does her job.
I was very angry with the service department for having my truck for a week,
and still not getting it in. So, I came here to vent, but I read the blurb,
and called the lady, she was so friendly I could not yell @ her. She had the
dealership get me in the next day to fix, which was good, as time is $$. I like
to buy locally, but the service department has a bad reputation. This lady is
working hard at changing it, give her a call if anyone screws you around, she
will take care of it, and they have another new service manager, he seems to
have his sh** together too! Hope these changes are permanent!!
Lift pumps on these suck, however they have a new retro fit kit--ask for Cory,
he will help you order one, I have one waiting in case mine blows for a 3rd
time!! It costs to do it this way, but better than being down for 2 weeks.

I usually always have dealt out of town, as the sales manager there Dan is a
dick, however when I visited for service I seen he was away, and talked to a
guy--Geordie?? He was awesome, very helpful, gave me a good deal. So I had a
fairly favorable visit with Sales this time, if you bypass Dan and see Geordie
or Dwight--they are good!! Also, They have replaced Parts & Service Managers,
my last 2 Visits to the service Department Have Been Great! Maybe they are learning!!

I walked into the dealership a few weeks ago and was very glad to see Tom Fraser
back in service. This man will take care of you every time. He will tell you
if there is a problem or if there is going to be a problem before you leave
your vehicle there. Has never lied to me. The service department went down hill
after he left. I have bought 5 vehicles off Fort City and seeing Tom has assured
me that I will buy more in the years to come. He used to be the Service Manager
here and hopefully will be again soon. Matt is good, no problems there. I know
he and Tom will work well together and fix Fort City. Anyone with previous problems
should call and ask for Tom, trust me he will listen!

Was happy with the sales. Didn't try to sell us a bunch of options we didn't
want, But our brand new van had 1500 KM when it showed up. Service dept. is
terrible took them 8 hours to install 2 clips for car seats, and any time we
take it in for any minor thing it takes them the better part of a day if they
even get it right.
will not deal with them again. like the van not the dealer but Quesnel is even
worse

bought a new truck and boat in washington and was towing to my home in alaska.
had extremely bad problem with misfire and rough running. stopped in on a friday
and they immediately took my truck in and repaired the problem. kelly my service
consultant was excellent and the mechanics were very knowledgeable with diesel
engines. they had me back on the road to home in no time at all. i wish i could
find as good service here where i live.

the people behind the service counter have told lies and the so called mechanic
that worked on my vehicle was not even a mechanic. I know the person and did

I would buy another Ram, but not from FSJ. 5 visits to the service dept and
the work still wasn't done properly. Went to Dawson Creek for service and not
only did they fix FSJs mistakes without asking, they treated me very courteously
unlike Fort.

At fort city in fort st john they were willing to give me a whole $11000.00
for my 02 Sebring that was loaded with a $3000.00 audio system, and only 28000k.
So they told me that it dropped $1500 in 18 months.

Service department very poor. Brought my 2003 truck over to the service department
to be looked at concerning a minor problem. Matt the sales manager came out
and looked at the problem saying that he or his mechanics had never dealt with
this specific problem on the 2003 models. So I left there his advice which was
to just try different things " trial and error." I ended up taking
it to Walt's Automotive where Walt had it fixed for me free of charge within
ten minutes. I just think its pretty poor that Fort City doesn't have the know
how and doesn't take responsibility for their own products. Walt's Automotive
on the other hand was great!!

Extremely unhappy with the service. I definitely see no one there going the
extra mile for anyone. Not a place to buy a vehicle that you will depend on
in any way!!! Extremely incompetent service and parts department. I have bought
two trucks there .. I had reservations about buying the second truck due to
the service! I should have listened to my reservations... Never again!

went the extra mile for me. The even had a customer Service guy call me to ask
if I was satisfied. It is about time a Dodge dealer up North is actually interested
in "customer satisfaction"

My sales lady was excellent, and still books my vehicle in each time I need
service. The service department never called me last time my parts were in to
book another appointment, which I thought was wrong, but a Customer Service
Lady called, and when I told her my concern, the Service Manager called himself
to apologize, and gave me a 1/2 price oil change. I have heard bad comments
about this dealership, but they always seem to go the extra mile for me.
Deal with Sharon Holden, she is an excellent sales lady.

Broke down on the highway, was towed to Dawson creek, where I was told it would
be 2 or 3 days till I could get in to service. I called FSJ and they said they
could squeeze me in. I paid for the tow to FSJ but Fort City got me back on
the road 3 hours after arrival, and the mechanic even found a gas leak which
has improved my gas mileage. Two weeks later I got a call from a lady in Customer
Service asking if the service was okay, of course it was!! I am from Kelowna,
and we do not get that kind of customer service here even. When I read all these
bad comments involving Fort City Chrysler, I had to say something, as I feel
I was treated excellent!!

Very friendly staff, I was introduced to all Departments after purchasing my
car there. Every time you walk in the dealership 2 or 3 people greet you. Service

This is the first dealership that has ever contacted me regarding service. The
follow up was excellent in the fact that when my truck was not fixed when promised,
2 days later, a customer service rep called. I told him of my small complaint,
the Service Manager himself called me to apologize, and gave me $10.00 off my
next oil change. That, in my opinion was going the extra mile, I definitely
recommend this dealership for customer service.

Made an offer to purchase a new Dodge truck, sales mngr scratched out trade
and final cost figures on a piece of scrap paper. I later re-contacted the sales
person, & requested a dollar value for leasing the same vehicle. The dollar
value for the vehicle had changed since the week before. Attempts to get a written
final cost for this vehicle were fruitless. I have since purchased in another
city.

I bought a brand new diesel truck from this dealership: BIG mistake !! NEVER
again! Sales team lied to me from the start and then avoided me after the buy!
Extremely unprofessional! Parts department and service I have found to be worse.
I needed a set of rear brakes for my truck so I called the parts department
and asked if they had any. They said they didn't but would call me when I they
found some! I didn't get a call so I went in and asked the in person. They were
rude especially a guy named Tom! and he told me that I wouldn't find any in
BC yet because the truck was too new and the parts would have to come out of
the States. He told me they had checked all the dealerships! I didn't believe
him so I called Inland in Dawson Creek and sure enough they had a set. They
even stayed open after hours for me to pick the set up! Bottom line is I will
never deal there again and know lots of people who have dealt and are dealing
with the same problems! I am about to buy a new truck again and its too bad
we don't have professional people here at Fort City Chrysler in Fort St. John!!

Very bad, been there six times and still have not admitted to their mistake.
Fighting me over a part that DID NOT need to be replaced. Very unprofessional.
Old part is put back in and everything is working fine but will not refund me
in any way. Not Happy. I still like my truck, not the local dealer.

One more experience for you all. I was told by the service manager that he wouldn't
do me any favors because I never purchased my truck from them. I am still in
a bitter battle with them, and will never again set one foot on their dealership.

When we first were looking at our new 1998 Durango, I knew more about the features
of the vehicle then the salesman; after purchasing the vehicle one speaker failed
to work, so we called them & then took it in. **Keep in mind we live in a different
town 2 hours away from this dealership** The service dept. informed us there
was nothing wrong with the speaker even though there was clearly no sound coming
out of it no matter whether it was on cassette/cd/radio settings. Then about
4 months after purchasing it, the clear coat began to peel off of the hood and
front fender. Dwight, the manager, blamed everyone else but themselves (Chrysler,
I mean.) After fighting with them for 8 months they finally got a Chrysler rep.
to come and look at the vehicle. She was great and gave immediate authorization
to redo the paint job on the hood and both fenders. So in the end, the new paint
looks great and we're happy with the vehicle, but as for the service at Fort
City Chrysler... we get any work that is needed done at Norland in Grande Prairie,
Alberta
