Dealer had replaced pinion seal at 96,000km differential went bad at 120,000km I had the differential repaired at an independent who found evidence it was incorrectly put together. Pinion shim to be exact. Dealer said if they had done this it would have broken sooner. Also the records for the pinion seal just happened to be on their old computer system and they cannot access the old work order. They showed me the door. I was out $640. They then had the balls to invite me to a party to see the new trucks. ***** Profits before people.

I have read the comments on this site submitted by another customer regarding the service at McAulliff. I have to wonder if this person has actually ever dealt with this dealer or if they just have a personal grudge with someone associated with it. I have purchased 3 new Ram 1500 Quads and have had excellent experiences with most of the sales staff and all of the service staff. The service is so good that we bring our non-Dodge vehicles here for repairs. They are cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable and always professional. McAulliff is easily the best auto dealership I have ever dealt with in this province, both in the lower mainland and in the central interior.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Avoid,
I have repeatedly experienced complete incompetence of staff and technicians. Vehicle had to be returned three times to have anti rust properly applied. During Transmission service, too much fluid was put into the transmission. Oil drain plug over tightened and leaked. Oil filter not tightened sufficiently, leaked. The list of problems is much more extensive than can be shown here. It is not the product's fault, but was the service done by incompetent technicians during normal routine work and service that was being done on the vehicle.
