Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I took my Dakota in for servicing. The tech. noted that the left front tire had a "cut" in it. The service rep. advised to take it in sometime for repair. No urgency was suggested. The tire went flat approximately 15 min. later. Upon observation it had a slash in it and a fast leak which could be heard clearly. The tire visibly deflated upon refilling. The tire was fine when the vehicle was taken in for servicing over an hour prior. It appeared that it had been vandalized while on the lot. No-one at the dealership, including the service manager, Mr. Subhas Parikh, would take any responsibility for a) having sent me out in a perilous situation with a rapidly deflating tire, and b) the replacement of the tire. In fact, Mr. Parikh was rude, accusing of me, and just plain refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever.. This is definitely a "avoid" situation.
