Purchased 2000 Dodge Durango SLT. Have had all warranty work performed at this dealership. Service department often "adding" on to bill (usually at the last minute), additional "costs" that are due to this "type" of vehicle (even though it is a standard Dodge vehicle purchased at this dealership). Continually fail to diagnose problems correctly - hit and miss with costly service.
No loaner cars, first come first serve - no appointment scheduling. Rarely is truck returned timely.
Never have had truck run smoothly, and they insist that it is "within spec". Leased same model/year before purchase (from another dealership) and all ran well. Service management insists (all the way up to a district manager level) that it is "normal" for a V8 to run roughly.
Will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership, nor will I return for any additional work. Very poor service department! Not sure if problem is incompetence or dishonesty, but advise to AVOID.
Came back from an overnight stay at the dealership (to diagnose (AGAIN) stall and rough idle) -- with rear infant/child seats unfastened? Wonder where it went for the evening, and why it was necessary to bring along a crowd?

Fullerton Dodge has got to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I had my 99 dodge Ram Truck in their so many times they got to now me by name, witch most of they names probably were not nice since I had to jump up and down and get mad before they would do anything. I thought a bumper to bumper extended warranty meant if something were broken on your truck they would fix it. Someone should explain that to Fullerton Dodge. They have replace 4 catalytic converts on my truck a heater cord witch dump fluid all over the cab of the truck a u joint to the steering box that I lost all steering at about 70 mph and a squeaky rear end that they can't duplicate the problem all 4 times I brought it in and had to show them. And this was all before I had 30,000 miles on the truck. So I finally took action and retain a lawyer and won a lemon law case against Dodge.
Use Anaheim Dodge they were so much more professional witch help with my headache with Fullerton Dodge

Took van in for 70,000 mile service. Received a call from Greg at service department stating that our car needed major work. He quoted $2,200.00 to do repairs. Said van needed gasket and major rear seal replaced due to leak--"oil is spewing everywhere!" He stated our water pump was also leaking and that the transmission mount was completely broken. But!!!! he said he would give us a 10% discount. When my husband and I questioned why we had not seen any oil or fluids on the pavement he said it's splashing around the wall of the van but not dripping. He then gave us another 10% discount. We said we would have to think about it and would call back. We decided to stop all work and get a second opinion. We picked up our van the next morning and asked him to give us a written estimate of the work recommended/needed and magically the prices changed dramatically!!!!! We took our van in to Goodyear Auto Service in Rowland Heights and had them check for the recommended items and the results were what we thought--not needed! We paid only $60.00 for a lube, oil & filter job. We plan to file a formal complaint against Fullerton Dodge. I think Fullerton Dodge makes most of their money ripping people off when they service the vans!

I hope that they are happy with themselves. I went there, giving them the benefit of the doubt. These guys reinforced the stereo type of dealership service departments. They must have assumed that I made up the problem with my truck so I could be stranded without my car for two days while they did nothing at all to fix the problem with my AC (which is under warranty). I offered to leave work and come down and demonstrate the problem. I was told that I had to make an appointment with the service manager to go for a road test, which could not be done today. To reiterate, they had my car for two & did absolutely nothing to it the whole time making me feel like it was my fault. Maybe it is because I am young or a minority. I Would strongly encourage everyone NOT to use the service dept at Fullerton Dodge. Still love my truck though.
One of the recommended service suggestions at the top of my sheet was for the manual transmission. I have an automatic.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
I went into Fullerton Dodge this evening with my son and met the worst sales manager in my life. Mind you I have bought 5 new cars in my lifetime and have never been treated so rudely or shamefully for a non educated person needing a sale from someone looking to buy.. When we politely told him we were not interested in the his trade in for 4K less than low blue book on our car and his 9.9% "first time buyers loan program" and got up to leave he said loudly" I guess I was too cold to them and gave them the facts." To all the salespeople in the room, (some who started to laugh at his arrogance). Thank God I raise an level headed son(ASB president at Savanna High school/ 4.0 GPA), who didn't let this man's rudeness affect him,but he got up to leave with dignity, shaking the sales persons hand in spite of his leaderships non-professionalism. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a pleasant experience. And I will continue to state so to my friends and relatives not to solicit this dealership in the future. By the way, the sales persons name was "Len".

Sales=Good, Service=Excellent,
Wow!! What a change from my last visit. I took my truck in on a Friday afternoon with a green fluid leaking from the front on the engine. When I walked into the office everyone and everything was different (a pleasant surprise). They couldn't do enough to help me. "Nick" had the mechanic look at my leak right away. Nick came back in less than 20 minutes and informed me that my water pump was leaking, it was covered by my warranty, and they could have it fixed by the end of the day so I wouldn't miss my trip out of town for the weekend. I'LL BE BACK!! Keep up the good work.

No pressure sales. I felt comfortable in dealing with the salesman. However, the finance guy is a prick. I wouldn't buy an add-ons or extended warranty and he turned from monotone to a**hole faster than a speeding bullet. He was pretty cold. So much so, that I almost broke off the deal. I won't go back to Fullerton Dodge for any reason because of the moron working in finance.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I had trouble with the A/C had it recharged at a couple of "no-name" places with dye and they could not find the leak. Decided to break down and take it to the dealer. Fullerton Dodge had it for 5 days when they finally decided the leak "Must be" in the condenser and they took the whole dash apart, that now rattles, and replaced it. $1000 and 90 days later, it is warm A/C again, just as if I had only spent $80 to replace it. So Here I am online looking for a good dealership or recommendation since the same truck (1998 RAM 2500 Diesel) has a trans leak. The metal coolant lines don't have enough spacers to keep them from rubbing together where they meet on the passenger side and it has worn though one of them. Guess I'll just have to order the part and make a Saturday out of it... Oh yes..and when it rains...my quad cab back seat gets wet because the rear sliding window had a lousy seal...

Do not take your truck or car to this service department especially if it under warranty. They don't make as much money so they put your ride to the side. It will take over two weeks for a trans rebuild and 12 days for an engine swap way to long to be with out any transportation. Your truck or car will come back with more problems then it went in with. Had my trans done and it still slips and leaks in drive way. Same thing with engine.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Avoid,
Very rude and they never call back. 17 days for rebuild trans before I got it home trans temp and check engine light came on smelled like burned fluid. Took back same day took over hour to test drive with tech. They wanted it to cool down. Test drove no problem tech was sure busy on that scan tool. Now it's a blown engine brake's failed right after. Engine replaced under contract took 12 days. Brake's failed due to contamination in system. Sure is funny that Fullerton Dodge and Mcpeak Dodge are the only two dealer's or shop to do any work on the truck. They told me to contact insurance company to file vandalism claimed. I am not filing a fraudulent claim. I can go on and on about Fullerton Dodge and the crappy product they sell and service, so by all mean avoid them avoid them. By the way all this plus a lot of small 1-2 day fix's before 80,000 miles. Avoid Fullerton Dodge at 1110 West Orangethorpe, Fullerton California

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
I had a steering problem with my new Ram 2500 PU. I took to Fullerton Dodge to have it repaired. At first I was told that there was nothing wrong with it and I would have to deal with it. After a call to Chrysler HQs. Was told to take it back to dealer. I have a small fold down camper on the truck. Fullerton Dodge told the factory that the problem was the camper and that I had refused to remove it so that they could check it without the camper. I WAS NEVER ASKED TO REMOVE THE CAMPER! I later took the PU to another dealer who told that there was a problem, and then fixed it. In earlier instances when I had to take the truck in (air conditioning problem) they never had the truck ready when promised. The first month of ownership, the dealer had the truck more than I did.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or no experience
