Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I had purchased a used 2002 PT Cruiser from this dealership. The sales department
lied about everything and never said that it had been lowered. They also said
it was a limited edition, which my son told them it was not. When we took it
in to have a noise checked, to find out that it was in the suspension, we were
told that it was not covered under the warranty I had purchased. When my son
went to pick it up, the sales manager said that it was not there problem and
they had the right to refuse the service.
So basically I paid for a warranty that was worthless. if I had known, I wouldn't
of bought the vehicle at all. My son know take all our vehicles (2 PT Cruisers
and a Dodge Caravan) To Autowest Dodge, who does give excellent service!!!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
First impressions, and repeat business means nothing to the salesmen I talked
to, which should be priority at first introduction. I called like most people
to the dealership to ask for information. I wanted to know where they were located,
how to get there, more about the quad 1500 ram, and if there were any rebates
and/or dealer discounts being offered. I called 4 times, and each time I called
I gave the salesman information on who I was and how to contact me. They all
said they would call me right back. It has been several days and not one person
has called me. I am an at home dad, so I could not have missed their call. Also
I have voice mail and an answering machine, so I could not have missed a message.
They were very abrupt and short with me. The sad thing is I was ready to buy
and drive upon finalization of a deal. There lost, my gain. Thank god they treated
me bad, before I drove all the way down from San Ramon to buy from them. If
their phone etiquette is rough, image the way they treat people in the flesh.
Well, I am glad and thankful I found Dublin Toyota. There is a guy there who
is awesome and took out many hours of his time to treat me like I was worth
a million dollars. He made no promises, except to work for me, which he did.
I will go back there many times and give my friends, family, and business associates,
and clients, and customers to Joe T. at Dublin Toyota from now on.
Here's the kicker, a quality/satisfaction representative of the company calls
and wants to survey me on my experiences at the dealership. Funny thing, I never
have been there, so how did they get my name and number as me being there. Did
someone lie and say we met? Well, tacky, tacky. I would be really embarrassed
for whoever told that lie there. If I were the manager I would really check
into that salesman's words from now on, and for us as consumers, buyer beware.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know,
Bought a Durango (sorry if this is "Ram only") but my $0.02 may make a difference.
Looked far and wide to find the exact truck I was looking for. Many dealers
in So. CA tried to sell me something that was close, but not quite what I wanted.
Found what I wanted to the letter at Hartzheim Dodge in San Jose. Found out
about it from the internet. Called them up. Absolutely perfect dealing with
them. Gave me an initial price lower than what I had to fight for from other
dealers (by more than 4k!), I was quite shocked. Asked a friend of mine up there
to go take a look at it. Said the lady in charge of internet sales treated him
very nicely. Said the truck was perfect. Took a trip up there. Took it on a
test drive. Bought it less than an hour later. Very slight pressure from different
salesman on the extended warranty but brought the price of a 7/70 total coverage
policy down from $1500 to $411!!! He said he would do anything to get a good
score on the questionnaire we will get. I intend to give them 100%, and I am
hard to please, that is how surprised I am on how I was treated. I cannot believe
that I almost bought something from a real schmuck simply because he had me
by the balls in having one of very few trucks that were set the way I wanted.
I am so glad I found out about Hartzheim Dodge. I did not know these people
before I started my search, and to be honest, living in LA, will probably never
use their service department, but I will recommend them to anyone with no problems
whatsoever. Also, experience after the sale has been great. A couple of questions
I had and a missing adapter were my problems, and they were solved before I
hung up. Should I want a new truck in the future, I will see what they have
before signing a check.
