I have taken my Durango numerous times to Hoblit Haynes to replace the governor.
Change the water pump 3x and check the transmission 1 time. Nothing wrong with
the Tranny they said. The last time I went to see them my water pump was leaking
again. Oh not to mention my car reeked of filthy cigarettes and I don't smoke.
Obviously whom ever worked on my Durango smoked and left his smell in my car.
Service Department was so rude. I took my Durango in on Sat, since they now
offer the sat service. Lou was rude, hostile and I WANTED to slap him. I told
my Husband this is the LAST time we take our TWO Dodge/Chrysler vehicles to
them.
After 2 days they fixed my water pump. I took my Daughter to Davis for a Dr's
appointment and realized, uh hello my tranny is slipping. They did not notice
it wont "go" when they test drove it? I called my Husband and he talked
to Lou who told him, "we don't test drive your vehicle for fixing a simple
water pump" hello! He also told my Husband he would be able to look at
it in 2 days. F=== THAT.
We took our Durango to Swift Dodge in Davis, where we were treated much Better
with the Service Dept. A wonderful car salesman named "Roman" showed
us some Pacificas gave my little one a bottled water and didn't pressure us
to buy buy buy. (Though we will with him!)
It took 1 day for the Service Dept to tell us we have Metal in the pan and they
were going to contact our warranty to see what they can do. One hour later service
called me to tell me I was getting a re-built tranny and was sending info to
Enterprise Davis to get a rental car. THATS SERVICE.
And Swift Dodge Davis washed my car (break dust was bad) and vacuumed my car
out. I ALMOST did not recognize it because it was white and not TAN! :)
Woodland Dodge would never do that. I would avoid Woodland Hoblit Hayes like
the plague. If you want a friendly staff travel to Davis.
I am buying a Chrysler Pacifica 2005. At Dodge Swift Davis!

Avoid the service dept like the plague. My 2003 Ram was brought in 3 times complaint
was about it leaking fluid and the smell of diesel in the cab. First two visits
dealer told me nothing was wrong and did nothing. Fed up brought it in third
time told them to FIX IT!!!!!. Then they found It had 2 fuel injector hoses
leaking. Should have fixed it the first time instead of giving me the run around.
Now the A/C quits working on long trips has happened SEVERAL TIMES and dealer
tells me it works fine nothing they can do. Truck is still there and they still
have not fixed it . They are NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY...........

I drove my '92 Durango to Hoblit-Haynes for a DBII scan (retrieve error codes).
I had gotten a Technical Service Bulletin regarding my vehicle off the internet.
The TSB stated that a DBII scan was needed to verify the problem. I was given
an estimate of $90 for the scan. Later that day I received a call from the service
dept. and was told my truck needed a new distributor, new cam shaft, new timing
chain totaling $800 in parts $1800 labor. When I told the service rep I couldn't
afford that right now he said it would cost an additional $90 to reassemble
my truck. I never authorized anything to be disassembled. As far as I'm concerned
a wrench never should have touched my vehicle. Later I called the Service Manager
and relayed what I had been told and he said he would look into it and call
me back. On the call back he said they'd put the engine back together no charge.
He also told me the distributor shaft should be replaced. When the manager called
to let me know my truck was finished he told me it no longer ran and I would
need a towtruck. My experience with Hoblit-Haynes; I drove my vehicle in, they
charged me $90, I need a towtruck to get my vehicle out.
I've been told Hoblit-Haynes is aware they have some bad eggs in the basket.
If it was my name on the door, I'd clean out the basket before I started smelling
like rotten eggs.

Both my wife and I have had extremely good experiences with Hoblit-Haynes. In
purchasing my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck, we worked directly with the
Sales Manager and he gave us a bottom line price without dickering over price.
We did have a little less satisfaction in dealing with a sales person on another
transaction where I helped a friend buy a vehicle there. However, when I raised
concerns, we were again referred to the Sales Manager and were again completely
satisfied with the experience. On my truck, the sticker price was $37,700.00
and I got it for $32,700.00 minus a $1,000.00 factory rebate for a total cost
of $31,700.00. Additionally, they didn't try to cram an extended factory warranty
down my throat. They offer two third party warranties that were significantly
less expensive. We have both the truck and our 2000 Town and Country van serviced
there exclusively. They have made a few mistakes but have always made good on
their errors and have been extremely accommodating. The conduct their business
with a high level of personal service. I love my truck.

Service Advisor - Ray #8433 was extremely rude with horrible customer service.
Very dishonest. I was lied to regarding a warranty issue. I would never recommend
to this dealer for service, based on how I was treated. Service advisor was
going to charge me things that were actually covered under my warranty. I had
to call Auto-West Dodge in Roseville who let me know that the part was covered.
I would highly recommend going to another dealer for service.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Don't Know,
Was given a great price on a 2002 Ram via the internet. Purchased three days
later. My financing was a week late with my bank, but these guys at Hoblit-Haynes
insisted that I take the truck home that day anyway. What a great bunch of people,
refreshing to find in this day and age.
