I LOVE my dodge pick-up, the most beautiful and powerful truck on the road.
I am very pleased with my purchase and service I have received at Iverson Motors.
I have only had problems with the fuel mileage in the beginning but that has
increased dramatically since we have put more miles on the engine. The only
problem I am having is that the passenger side air is not working, but this
will be fixed or there will be problems! I have never owned any automobile that
I love this much!

DO yourself a favor and stay away from Dodge products and Iversen Motors in
particular! I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with 70000 miles on it that was overheating
again and again. The result was new thermostats every 3 months. I brought it
in again and I have now been diagnosed with cracked heads, gaskets, and manifolds
with over $3000 in damages! The mechanic told me it was something peculiar with
these engines that they will crack when they overheat, talk about cheap! He
kept calling me back with more problems but I didn't get to see the parts they
said were needed, they were already disposed of! I paid the bill but cant help
but think I was ripped off.
I'm back to being a Ford man, I cant afford the mechanics bill for keeping a
Dodge.

I had the rear differential pinion bearings go out on my 2001 Ram 1500 4x4 (9.25,
4:10 ratio. Truck was under extended 75k warranty and truck has 66k miles. Kirk,
service mgr. honored warranty after $100. deductible was paid. Michael Jordan
was my service rep. and was very professional. He kept me informed at all stages
of repair, ie: left messages at my home and called me on cell phone. I never
had to call him during repairs which took about three days by the time they
diagnosed, ordered parts, and installed. Everything they told me they would
do, they did. Nothing hidden, and nothing added. I had an excellent experience
with this dealership and their Service staff. I also have bought two other vehicles
from them. Wiggins Lambert was the salesman. Again, excellent price and efficient
paperwork in a timely manner. If you want a new or used vehicle I give Wiggins
a 5-star rating. He will really work for you to get you the best deal. I will
go back to Iversen Motors in the future and highly recommend this dealership.
Kirk, Service Mgr., Mike Jordan, and Wiggins Lambert: All of them are an asset
to Iversen Motors and they will treat you right.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I had my Dodge Ram 1500 serviced to find out why it was using a quart of oil
every 900 miles. This truck started using oil at 40,000 miles. Iversen's checked
compression at my request and it was ok. We had discussed the possibility that
the intake manifold gasket had blown. Iversen determined that it was blown and
estimated repairs at $500.00...they called and informed me that the front crank
seal needed replacing (I never had any signs of external oil leaks) and coolant
flush was needed the final bill was over $1200. One month later still had high
oil consumption so I returned it. I was told that Chrysler considered 1qt/900
miles "normal". I didn't buy that idea...normal for a 29 model A Ford
perhaps.
I had them do an oil change and told them I would return to allow more signs
of oil in the intake. A month later I ran a cotton swab into the intake..found
oil!! Returned to the dealer for repair. The service manager told me the cover
plate might be warped and I would have to pay for the part..so I said OK.
The Service Manager, Mike Jorden, told me indeed the intake plenum was leaking
oil..replaced the plate and gasket again. I was informed parts and labor would
be $336.00!! Needless to say I was astounded that this re-repair cost me more
that the cost of the plate ($8 bucks). Mike's stand was that it was not the
gasket that failed...it was the plate!! Do you think maybe they should have
replaced the plate..since they replaced a two month old radiator hose that i
was charged $14 dollars for!! After some argument I was forced to pay $195.00
for a repair that was under a 12000 mile warranty!!
I'm not happy!!! They stand behind their work...way way behind! I still don't
know if this problem is gone.

I purchased a new 2003 Dakota from Cord McQueen at Iversen Motors. I shopped
around pretty extensively for the new truck. Iversen offered very competitive
prices and a straight forward salesman. I noted a couple of minor deficiencies
with the vehicle at delivery. The dealership quickly resolved the problems and
the service manager (Kirk) was professional and pleasant to deal with. I recommend
this dealership to friends.

With set payment in mind the sales man that help me went the extra mile
in showing me a wide range of vehicles and explained in detail the perks of
each vehicle. When it came time for paperwork the Sales manager/Finance person
explained everything in great deal and eagerly answered any questions that I
had.
Iverson Motors provides the best service compared to any local car lot here
in Santa Maria and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is inquiring
a automobile purchase.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
The guy who wrote the glowing report must work there. My 5 SP. Trans. makes
noise. It started in 5th gear, They said they couldn't hear it. Later they said
they could hear it but that it was normal. Later still, noise has moved to the
rest of the gears as well. OK, NOW they can hear it. They drain the oil and
find metal particles. They R & R the tranny and replaced the input shaft bearing
without inspecting the rest of the tranny. Trans continues to make the same
noise as before. On Dec 19, '99 they told me they would replace the tranny,
but it may take up to 60 days to get a new or rebuilt trans. It's Feb 5th now
and no new tranny. The story is more convoluted than this but I'm tired of typing.
Will report back with updates (if any!). UPDATE March 20, 2000 - FINALLY GOT
MY NEW 5 SPEED TRANNY, ONLY HAD TO WAIT TWO MONTHS AND ANOTHER LETTER TO THE
OWNER

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
I have purchased my last 5 vehicles from Iversen Motor Company and have
yet to find a dealer more customer friendly. In regards to their service department
they have always been efficient and repaired my vehicle in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing or servicing a Chrysler
product to visit Iversen Motor Company and experience how easy and enjoyable
it is to purchase or service your vehicle.
(Form
error, ratings not sent), speedo runs faster than actual 5 mph with
the next size taller tires. Dealer refused to fix because tires not stock size.
If the tires were stock the speedo would probably be 10 mph off
