I've been a customer at Gainesville Dodge for 28 years and have bought virtually all my cars and SUVs from them but during this last visit for a 'Buy Back @MSRP sale' we will no longer be doing business with Dodge. General Manager has left, original salesman is there and we would deal with him if his boss was not there. Sorry to say, 'one bad apple spoils...' Sticker price $3,000 lower than invoice, then the boss played games with us vaguely specifying actual MSRP 'at new' and trying to justify himself and his 'ad'. He was obnoxious with comments such as "Well, just why did you come here today?" (Just because you go to a car sale it doesn't mean you are OBLIGATED to buy their car.) We do not like being intimidated, guilted-out or brow-beaten to buy a car. We are only sorry our preferred salesman lost a sale. Service and Parts Departments are all very good but we are not going to be buying there any more. All in all, one person has changed our entire outlook on our car-buying experience...SAD.

Had an intercooler problem. They had the part in 2 days and fixed it as soon as it came in. Can't ask for more than that.

Have always been treated fairly and respectfully by sales, service and parts. I have purchased 4 trucks from Gainesville Dodge since 1998. I will only buy Dodge trucks.....

Sales Department OK. Seem to have treated my 75+ yr. old dad fairly. I have the '99 Dakota now and have used the dealership for repairs and regular servicing. They've given me an appointment on Friday for Saturday repairs and got it right the first time. Service Department gave me the option to buy expensive air filters, etc. elsewhere, no pressure to buy Mopar only, at oil change. They even gave me discount on service that was supposed to be by coupon only! As you would expect, most prices for service and parts are sky high, but not as bad as Ford or GM dealers I've dealt with. Highly recommend if you don't have a "tame" local garage/mechanic.

Left me stranded for 2 and a half hours while they had my truck! Been a ford guy until I got the dodge. Dodges from here on out!

once you say you might be interested they will try everything and then some to try and get you to buy, but once you say no, then they let the gorilla out of the cage. This big, mean, nasty, hairy, smelly guy comes at you with full force and shakes your hand, almost breaking it, and then tries to send you on a guilt trip by saying "how are we supposed to feed our families if you won't but the truck?" and then as you walk out he mumbles something under his breath. Little did he know that I mumbled something also "looks like you feed your family, or should I say yourself, very hefty!" I wish that guy wasn't such a jerk, then at least I would be the owner of a 1998 ram 1500 ss/t! (comments do not appear to match rating)
