Folks. Avoid this dealership like the PLAGUE!!! I'm a dummy and have bought
2 vehicles from them. The first truck they sold me they cleaned the dashboard
with SOLVENT and ruined it. I had to bring it back 6 plus times to have them
fix it. They re-spray painted the dash WITH IT IN THE TRUCK. I had a small fender
bender. Took it to their collision center to have it fixed. They had to redo
the job 3 times! Just bad bad paint work.
Sold that 97 Ram and bought an 03 Hemi. I got my price but then they hit with
the BS $500 doc fee. The scratched the lexan plate cover the instrument cluster
and it took months to fix it. Each time they tried to fix it they broke more
stuff or installed incorrectly. The service manager was rude and had no value
for my time. I had to bring it in 6 times to get the instrument cluster fixed.
I tried calling the MGT team and they wouldn't even return my call. Sent a registered
letter, still no response. Ended up getting fixed at a dealership MUCH further
away.
Still this and I gave them one more chance. Tried to buy an SRT10 Ram from them.
They wanted to jack me for over $10k over sticker AND have me sign some letter
that I wouldn't sell it for 12 months? What is that?
Anyway...I did buy my SRT10 RAM. But not from Marietta Dodge. They will never
see me again and I suggest you avoid them too!

Noticed my emergency brake was slack and I crawled underneath it and the whole
doggone tensioner/equalizer was gone. That is what I get for going through brush
an generally using my ram as a DOZER.
I call the dealer and they look it up, $18, i say fine I want it. He says he
has to order it and I have to prepay, I say fine I'll give you a cc, he says
NOPE I have to come in. I say look its an 18$ part I want it, I don't want to
drive 10 miles over there then have to turn around and drive 10 miles back to
pick it up. I then say look I bought this truck from y'all's dealership Brand
new! Almost 30k! You can't order me a damn 18$ part! He says Nope and I said
that is bull$hit.
What kind of place doesn't let people use CC for parts and what kind of place
don't give a Dam if you bought a truck from them at all. I'll tell kind of Place.............
MARIETTA DODGE in good old Marietta Georgia.

After talking for a couple days with a salesman called JB about the purchase
of a used car. We agreed on a price and I informed JB I would be at Marietta
Dodge by 6:30 that evening (11/3/04) to pick it up. JB asked if something came
up would I please give him a courtesy call that I could make it that evening.
I was coming from Ellijay, GA and arrived at 6:20 and asked for JB in anticipation
of drive home the car. JB informed me that he sold this car earlier today! I
of course was very upset and told JB that he asked if I would call if something
came up, but he didn't have to respect to return the favor to a customer. He
said let me see what I can do, so my wife and I stood there for 30 minutes before
realizing JB had disappeared? We both were very upset that any auto business
would do such a thing and then side step us to avoid his embarrassment for selling
the car out from under us! This may be a common procedure for Marietta Dodge?
But for a customer it is totally unacceptable behavior and I will send the same
report the Dodge's main office expressing my dissatisfaction. People like JB
is what gives car salesman a bad name and now has giving Marietta Dodge that
same reputation. The owners of Marietta Dodge too will here my complaints as
well.
With regrets:
One Extremely dissatisfied potential customer!

Worst car buying experience of my life. Sales team are crooked bastards. Mike
Patton (Floor Manager is a stand up guy though). Still not worth all the hassle.
Avoid this place at ALL costs.

I found the sales staff and sale manager to be very good to work with. Willie
Brown was the Salesman and Mike ? was the manager. They seemed fair and honest
and I had no problem working a deal on two vehicles in the past month. I buy
for a living and they seemed fair to me. I will admit that their service personnel
both at the dodge dealership and the Jeep dealership seem to be less than good,
but now quite "plague".
If you go in knowing what you want and are an informed consumer (as you should
be when throwing down 20,000.00 dollars for vehicles) they are good to deal
with.

These are the worst scumbags on the planet - - seriously. Walk before you buy
anything from them. I've had dodges all my adult life, and Marietta Dodge is
the closest dealership to my home. Their salesmen are vultures. The last time
I tried to buy one from them, a 3500 Ram Truck, they had an internet price that
they wouldn't honor, said it was a mistake and that they had to correct it on
their website and hadn't had time to do it yet. When I told him I had a check
ready for purchase, and had already looked at 3 other dealerships, he came down
250.00 on the price. They wanted 500.00 for a document fee. He called me back,
three days later, and when I told him I had already purchased a truck for 3300.00
less than their price, he didn't say a word, just hung up on me.
Parts/Service: I've priced their OEM parts and consumables for several years
now, they are always 20% higher than surrounding dealerships. The fuel filter
for the Diesel with the Bosch VP44 fuel pump is expensive from dodge...averaging
about 42.00. Marietta dodge wanted 56.00. I had a 91 Gas model 1500, needed
a new fuel pump for it - - they wanted 450.00 for the part, and it was 195.00
at a dealership on the south side of Atlanta. These guys are truly AWFUL.

Tried to purchase a Dodge 2500 Ram from this dealer, there were no sticker prices
on the trucks I was looking at, I asked for a price, the salesman took me into
the dealership and had the "sales manager" meet with me. He had a
sheet of paper that had monthly payments of around $680.00 a month for 60 months
and a down payment of $5,000.00. No price on the vehicle, no interest rate,
no clear understanding of what I was paying for the truck. When I asked for
the price of the truck again the "sales manager looked at me as if I was
from another planet. He expected me to sign on the bottom line and be happy.
AVOID THIS DEALER.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
I am new to this state and have been a Ford customer for more than 15 years.
Before relocating from Southern California, my husband and I purchased our last
5 vehicles from the same Ford Dealership (Galpin Ford) because they were honest
and never tried to take advantage of us. I have heard good things about the
Dodge Grand Caravan and have been considering making the change from an Expedition.
I visited this dealership and immediately told the sales rep what I wanted and
what I would be willing to pay. After a test drive, I thanked him but was not
willing to give up all of the options I had on my Expedition to buy a Grand
Caravan with really NO options. Before I could leave, the rep got his "Customer
Service Manager" who told me that they had some excellent deals on a couple
of demo caravans that were fully loaded and would be in my price range. We looked
at one of the demos (it didn't have a sticker on it at all but he said it was
in our range so we took a test drive). The 5,000 miles that were already on
the van didn't bother us so we decided to see what they could do for us. The
rep came back to tell me the best they could do was a 60 month loan with payments
in the high seven hundred range. After I burst out laughing, I asked him what
price he had listed the demo van at and he told me $36,000. I was infuriated
that they would waste my time and try to take advantage of me in such an outrageous
way. The following week I visited their web site to find the exact van listed
at MSRP $34,613/Internet $28,637. I sent an email to their customer service
department and told them that I not only would never return, I would tell everyone
I came in contact with to avoid Marietta Dodge like the plague! Not surprisingly,
I never heard from them again! I am still looking for a Dodge Grand Caravan
but have heard that Team Dodge of Stone Mountain is probably a better bet. We'll
see....

Sales=Avoid, Service=Excellent,
Tried to buy a New Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram Quad Cab to no avail. The new
car sales staff are a bunch of typical, sleazy, full of it, no service, let
me go talk to my manager, losers. I had one guy that wouldn't even come off
the sicker price for a Demo Caravan with 2500 miles on it. Service
Department, specifically the truck parts, is great. I bought a Dodge Ram from
another dealer and they did not have any front license plate brackets. I stopped
in to the Truck parts of Marietta Dodge and they gave me one for free. Great
guys.
