I own a Dodge truck and I love it, I wished I had purchased it with James ,he is a great sales person my husband and I just purchased a Dodge Calibar from him and he gave me a good deal . I am waiting for my 18 inch rims and tires for the car and Laurie is keeping in touch with me every week. Iam touched, my husband feels i had given James a hard time, this I don't feel cause I know our hard earned dollars has been spent well. I appreciate James patienceand understanding he was quick and we were out of there in a flash.
I will recomend James to all my family and friends to purchase a car at Windward Dodge Kaneohe!!!! Allright James, best wishes from Wilma-n- Rodney Calio Sr. Nanakuli, Hawaii

I went shopping for a Dodge Calibur, Dillingham, Pearl City, Waipahu, and Windward was the only dealers to give results right away. I met this salesman James who worked with me to meet my needs, in fact my husband felt I was giving him a hard time. It was not that all I wanted to get good return for my hard working money being spent. I expected to spend the whole day there, but he had us out of there in couple of hours. I had purchased the car with 18 inch rims and tires and they are keeping in contact with me till the tires and rims come in. I really appreciate that especially Laurie (I think that's her name in customer service) is just great because she knows I am waiting for it. They are great people there at Windward Dodge very friendly and just great so far!!!! Very Satisfied Customer
Thank you James my husband and I really wish you the best, you too Laurie nice to know good people who cares and can fill your needs not only for your money, if you know what I mean!!!!!!

We brought our PT Cruiser into Windward for it's first service call after purchase. Brenda Felisi was our Service Advisor and she was wonderful. We feel comfortable with the service our vehicle received and will be a return customer. Thank You for the excellent customer service Brenda

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid, Parts=Avoid, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
i recently purchased our first car,which was a van in may 2004. immediately after that we started having problems. our window wouldn't go up after rolling it down. took it in a week later to get it fixed. next thing you know the window still does not work properly and also the driver's door does not lock. now i have to drive there again which takes an hour at five in the morning so that i can drop it off at six and then catch the bus back to go to work. we also wanted to fix a light..talked to Brenda back in may and asked if the warranty we purchased would cover it....she said that she will notify Dodge headquarters for authorization and it will take 2-3 weeks from now do not call us, we'll call you. well it's been four weeks since we last spoke. during the weeks i've called she's not in always asking to leave a message......don't know what to do....i am frustrated at this point!!!!
Bought there, experience was okay...could have been more prepared with negotiating and knowing the blue book value on my preowned van, asking more questions, write everything down(cost, monthly payments, etc.), and definitely wished I went home and slept on it before making a definite decision.

Sales=Good, Service=Fair, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I am writing this survey because just recently I have had a bad experience that really put me in the light of how poorly your employees are at customer service. First of all, about a month ago I had service done on my van. Brenda, who by the way is an excellent service rep, had asked me to bring in the coupon out of my maintenance book. I told her that I did not have the blue book. She said that according to their computer, I have a coupon book. So she sent me over to see John S. in the finance dept. When I spoke to him about it he told me that he didn't think I purchased the book, which I knew I did and told him so, but said that he'll look into it and get back to me. I asked him if I should call him back and he said no. He told me that he'd call me back. So 2 days later when I hadn't heard from him I called back and he was out so I left a message. Then I called Brenda to let her know what was happening. She said to give him a day or so because he was probably busy and then call him back. This was a month ago and I had still not heard from him.
Secondly, I called to get a price on a replacement of a side view mirror. Since Brenda was out that day, I was dispatched to Diane. I left a message for her explaining what I needed along with my name and phone number. 2 days later I still had not heard from her. So I called Dodge and asked for the gen. manager. I was asked if something was wrong and I said yes. It took the operator approx. 3 min. to get someone to take my call. His name is Carlos Hando and he told me that he was the sales manager. I explained my problem to him and asked him if he could help me or not. I was very frustrated at this point. He said that he'd look into it and get back to me. Late that afternoon he called my job and left a message on the price of the mirror but did not have answers on the coupon book. He did say that he had spoken to the finance manager and that he was looking into it. Meanwhile, I checked my contract and found that I did purchase the coupon book. So I called Carlos and left a message for him telling him that I did purchase the book and that it was on my contract. Later he called me back and told me that according to their books, he finds that I did purchase the book and that I would have to call the number on the back of the Service Manual in order to get the book. Why was this not brought up when I purchased the van? And why did it take so long for John to get back to me with an answer? And why also did Diane not call back with a price on the mirror? I am very frustrated with Dodge and I will not recommend Dodge to anyone. In fact when I passed my feelings on with a few of my family and friends about what's going on, they told me that Dodge is one of the worst place to buy a car. I wanted you to know what's going on and this was the best way to do.
Sincerely, Johnette Moses      MOSESJ008[a]hawaii.rr.com

#1 - I have called and left messages for the financial advisor to call me back and have not heard from him in a month.
#2 - I have called and left a message for Service Dept. Rep (Dianne) to call me back on a price for a driver's side view mirror. I need to have the whole thing replaced. This is the second day and I have not heard from her yet. How long does it take to get a price on the parts and labor.
#3 - I have been told that the service is bad but did not realize it till now. I will never recommend anyone in my family or any of my friends to buy a Dodge from here. Very very unhappy with the service.

Sales=Good, Service=Excellent, Bought a new '96 Ram 3500 V10 off the lot in '96. Sales staff wasn't too familiar with the bigger trucks (they weren't selling too many) and I knew more about the options and capabilities of the V10 then he did. But they were accomodating. The dealership's strongpoint, though was/is the service department. I really miss Brian (my service rep) and his Aloha now that I've moved to the Mainland. Been to several dealerships here on the mainland and all were rip joints. I highly recommend Windward Dodge over the Honolulu dealer!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, I purchased a 1998 used Jeep Wrangler from there in February 2001. It was my first car and my inexperience purchasing cars really hurt me. I went to them because I led myself to believe that they were a reputable dealership and I ended up getting scammed for a lot more than I could afford. One of the supervisors even offered to have someone follow me home when I told him I would be back the next day with my checkbook. I'll never forget the agony Doyle and James caused. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. They were everything I was warned about used car salesmen.
I ended up purchasing a Jeep with some hidden problems, fixable, but not something I should have had to pay to fix considering the price I paid for the Jeep. They seemed to lose any semblance of concern and respect for me as a customer once the papers were signed. Also, they altered some of the documents for the bank to show that I had more money than I actually had .
Well, I got something I am trying not to regret for the time that I own it. I am a bit ashamed to tell people where I purchased the Jeep because I feel I was conned by men from a supposedly reputable establishment.
If you do decide to purchase a car from Windward Dodge in Kaneohe, HI, I strongly advise you stay away from Doyle and James.
