I was very unsatisfied with the dealer. They were very rude and unfriendly.
They are like the dealers you hear horror stories about. My husband bought a
car there in 2006 and they were actually descent then and then they sold it
to someone else and he hired new people and they are
very RUDE!!!.. I recently went there with my mom looking for a new car for her.
She was willing to pay cash and they REFUSED to take it. They said it was a
slap in the face and for us to leave if we didn't want to have a loan they weren't
the place for us. I thought that was very rude and it seemed like they were
trying to hide something if they wouldn't take cash. The finance guy was a waste
of air I think they could do much better than someone that looks like he belongs
in the hills somewhere, and his attitude is horrible.

I would buy another Dodge product, but probably not from this dealer- and I
usually like to keep my business local. I went in for a check on an oil leak,
and received a really high quote. After checking with many people about how
much it should cost, I went to another local business and had the oil pan gasket
replaced. I went back to Dempsey's for my $9 oil change (I have bought 3 brand
new cars there) and the oil pan threads got stripped while there. The tech's
and mgr in service say the last person did it, I disagree. Anyway, I couldn't
take my car anywhere else, so I had no choice, but to get it fixed (and we were
lucky{as they told us} that they had a loaner that we could use- but we needed
to make sure that it returned with a full tank and it didn't matter that it
cost me more to drive their vehicle...) I voiced my complaint and did get some
discounts, but still feel it was not enough. I called the mgr over the Dwight
dealer and he did nothing. He said he was going to let service decide how to
handle it. My husband changed my oil yesterday and low and behold- the plug
was on too tight.... I haven't heard anything since, and will be sending them
a bill for what I believe is the fair amount- 1/2. At this point, I am very
dissatisfied with this solution and have never complained to them about anything
else.

I went to Demsey Dodge in Dwight and I didn't appreciate the way the dealer
acted towards ME!!!!! I was trading MY car in and he ONLY would talk to my husband
I think it's important that the dealer makes sure that he interacts with both
people and not act like the woman should have nothing to do with it!!It was
MY daily driver and I was asking questions and he was saying well, I was taking
to your husband and I feel since it was MY car that we were trading in that
he should let me know what was going on . Today,I went to a different dealership
and it was GREAT!!!! I went to Tyson Motor Corp.in Shorewood, Illinois and EVERYONE
was wonderful I am happy to report!!!!!I got my NEW car and I am VERY HAPPY!!!

Would not recommend this dealer for diesel engine work. Had symptoms described
in TSB 18-06-98 (Loss of prime). Explained symptoms to technician in detail
and referred technician to TSB. Shop unable to locate problem, told me to come
get my truck. Hide and seek game cost $100. Took truck to diesel engine shop
(Triangle) and they found and fixed a leaking rubber hose as described in TSB,
and repaired a few other vacuum hoses for $90. You know where I'm going next
time.
