wish i knew of this sight way back when i bought my dodge ram van 1500, in feb
2001
sales guy name was rich he was good/great guy helped me out a lot!!!!
Rich and I haggled for about 2 to 3 hours, the van had things i didn't need
and some things
I wanted weren't included,we had fun doing it.
the finance manager and the shop manager was what i had a bad experience with!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the finance manager got angry with me when i pointed out they were charging
me for
an alarm that was for a vehicle that had power windows and locks, it was like
$400 difference
we had some words on the personal level, the general manager over heard this
and
and didn't charge me for the alarm and took almost a whole point off the interest
rate for me
and when i came to pick up the van the alarm was suppose to have a shock sensor
on it , but it didn't
they both were trying to weasel money out of me instead of being HONEST.
Dodge needs to have a real time follow up system to insure that the customer
was treated correctly
for the service preformed.

Upon trying to get my New Dodge vehicle repaired for a minor warrant issue,
my vehicle sat at this dealership for ten days. I took a little hike thru the
lot , and although I was told the vehicle was being worked on, I found it in
the back lot, blocked in, and covered with dust. The vehicle had not been moved.
When I voiced my concerns to the service department, I was asked why I did not
bring the vehicle to where I had purchased it. On day thirteen I was informed
that they could not determine a problem with the vehicle, Our of frustration
I had the vehicle serviced by my mechanic, and the problem was resolved the
same day for under 100 dollars. "Kiss my a-- Elmhurst Dodge!!!!!!!"

Service department helped to track down electrical issues on a 1994 Intrepid
ES. No loaners available, but that seems to be the way of most dealers these
days. Kept me in the loop with parts availability - one of the few dealers to
actually call me back when they say they will.

What's a good sale without good service? New Intrepid(93) was in for some scratch
removal; they removed the paint from the door handles. No loaner provided so
I left. Cup holder on order 2 times, never called, they play stupid when I call
about it, still broken. In for water pump repair and was returned with the rear
view mirror in passenger seat. I couldn't believe that one. Had a radiator flush
and then lost all coolant in garage overnight. Tech said it tested fine, I insisted
he try again and it was replaced. 1996 Ram was in 3 times for purge solenoid
recall, kept hooking it up wrong causing check engine light. 96 Ram again getting
ABS & brakes lights. After paying twice for same repair, seems to happen every
14-15K miles, meaning 12K warranty is up you loose. Setup date for 93 Intrepid
recall, showed up early and was turned away said they have to order parts, will
call me (right). Had enough of these incompetent, arrogant service advisors.
