Sales=Don't Know, Service=Excellent, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
I transport new travel trailers to dealers across the country and on August
22nd of 2003 found me, my truck and the 38 foot trailer I was delivering about
50 miles west of Joliet on I-80 in need of a tow. When we arrived at the dealer
they made arrangements to store the trailer, diagnosed the problem and as the
fuel lifter pump had to be overnighted from Dodge, it being a Friday the work
could not be completed until the following Monday. They recommended a good,
clean and reasonably priced motel and made sure I got there and back on Monday.
They had put my needs at the top of their list and I was on my way early Monday
morning.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Fair, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
We bought a car at Joliet Dodge a few years back and got a good deal and had
a nice salesperson. The finance department was fair at best, just about anybody
or anyplace could beat the rate. We ended up using our own bank. We did bring
in the car for service and it was fair at best. Slow and never really solved
the problem. Just a few months back I was in need of a part and called and was
told they would have no problem matching a price I had from the internet. I
ordered the part, but when it came in it was about 15% higher in cost and they
told me that was the price. I guess they knew I needed it and stuck it to me.
The funny thing was while my part was on order I started to look at a new truck.
Sale said they would match or beat my best deal. I got my price in writing and
went in and was treated like I was dirt. They basically told me I was a liar.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. I have a truck coming from the "other"
dealer they said could not do it. THEY DID. Shop and you will find the deal
you want, just NOT AT JOLIET DODGE!!

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
As the Dealer Principal, I have owned and operated Joliet Dodge, Inc. for
13 years. Currently, we have obtained the highly acclaimed 5-Star status
and plan to keep it. We have a sales and service who are certified both as DaimlerChrysler
sales professionals and as certified STAR professional technicians. Joliet Dodge
has provided Joliet, Illinois with a Business to cheer about. As a Retail, Fleet,
BusinessLink, Service, Parts and Wholesale Parts organization, we have had as
a stated goal to save customers Time-Money-and Hassles. It works. Being unable
to please every customer is a given, but we certainly try to please everyone.
Our 5-Star is evident of that. Unhappy customers would complete 'surveys' that
would either allow us to remain 5-Star or lose that valuable asset. Whenever
you see this designation, you can rest assured that the ratings are 'customer-driven'.

We have looked for a reliable and knowledgeable truck specialist for quite some
time, and we have found that most friendly and helpful someone in the person
of a Steve White at the Joliet Dodge location in Joliet Illinois. Not only did
he get us what we wanted at a fair and reasonable price, he went out of his
way to be of service to us AFTER the sale was completed. For these reasons,
we have decided that our company will buy all of our commercial vehicles, and
our personal cars and trucks from this fine company. The pleasure buying at
Joliet Dodge was all ours. Thank you Joliet Dodge, for having Steve in your
employ.

Joliet Dodge has the best selection of diesels for both 2-wheel and 4-wheel
drive in all the configurations. Pricing was the best, not always the lowest,
as price doesn't always matter when the correct information and the proper people
are working with you. Product knowledge is superb, upfitting bodies, and anything
and everything about Joliet Dodge is highly recommended. They have sprinters
also, thank you

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
While shopping for a new truck recently, the salesman at Joliet Dodge, in Joliet,
IL was trying to pressure me into buying the truck for one, then once they showed
me their "invoice" pricing, it included a convenient $750 advertising fee that
they say comes directly from Dodge. Now, I also went to some other local Dodge
dealerships, and saw their invoices and no were on them was it stated that there
is an advertising fee from the manufacturer, and the salesmen at those dealerships
even said flat out that the $750 "advertising fee" they were trying to charge
me (and apparently charge all of their customers), is just flat out more profit
for them. The advertising fee, they say, is something that the dealerships themselves
should absorb, and should be grouped in with the dealership's overhead costs,
not passed onto the customers like they are doing. Avoid this dealership at
all cost, first reason being because of their rude & pressuring salespeople,
and second being their questionable "advertising fees" they try and charge you.
