Avoid Like the Plague! = Bait and switch tactics.
Called in regards to an ad in the paper. Salesmen stated on Monday AM @ 8:00. "No problem, we have the van here, come & buy it". Rented a car from central IL and drove 3 hours. Called every hour, stated van was there and ready to buy for $15,000. Salesmen stated that they have several to choose from between $15,000 and $17,000.
Arrived to hear that they just sold the van I wanted. This was at 11:00 am. Informed that the best they could do was conversion van @ $25,000. Asked for one of the vans at the prices stated on the phone.
Was informed"no way". Then I asked who bought the van listed in the paper. Was informed this was impossible.
Then salesman brought his "boss". He stated "the add got you here didn't it".
I was in a time restriction to talk further. Bought another van in the paper at a different dealer at the price quoted in paper.
Glad to hear they are gone.

Anyone who has bought a vehicle from Midlothian Dodge please note-----they have shut down their doors for business. I didn't find out until I received a letter from South Holland Dodge commented how Midlothian left a perceived void with customers. So I decided to call myself - they don't even have on the recording that they have closed - how unprofessional!!!! All you get is a recording to leave a message. Well, hopefully South Holland Dodge is better. But in the future I will not purchase or refer anyone to buy a Dodge.

I called and asked specific questions about a van they had on the internet and in the paper. The salesman gave me the information but when I sat down at the table to close the deal, he started changing numbers. I caught him in 3 lies. His manager came in and was as rude as could be to me and to his salesman. They asked me to wait for them to review the deal, then came back with a new story from the first two! I told them I was leaving and they were rude and even started yelling at me. I worked selling cars in the 80's and have known many car dealers and salesman. Never have I encountered such a poor example of this trade. Think twice before going to this dealership.

Sales=Poor, Service=Poor,
Although very happy with our 2000 Caravan, experience was poor. Divide and conquer sales tactics with my wife and I, disrespectful of my time. Avoid salesman "Curly" like the plague. Service department availability is poor, they act like they're doing you a favor.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or No Experience
