The service writers are arrogant and cocky. They never offer to wash your vehicle
after service. We have 2004 Dodge Ram, recently had a problem with the rollover
valve in the fuel tank and can't get gas in the tank. The tank had to ordered.
It took one week for them to get it. We dropped the truck of at noon and was
told it would take 3.5 hours to complete the repair. The service writer called
at 3:15 to ask if we were bringing the truck in today, he was on lunch when
we dropped the truck off and did not know it was there. I had to argue for them
to give us a rental car for three hours. They called to say they could not install
the new tank because it had a crack in it (they probably dropped the plastic
tank). The next day they called to say they put the old tank back in (still
can't get gas in it) and we had to return the rental car or they would charge
us $25.00 a day. South Oak Dodge refused to cover the rental car until the second
new tank came in. We have an extended warranty and the service writer wanted
to charge us the $50.00 deductible so he could close out the ticket, even thought
the repair was not completed. We told him no. They said they had to clean the
sludge out of the old tank before reinstalling it. They charged us $10.00 for
2 gallons of gas and wouldn't give us our keys until we plaid them. You would
think they would give us 2 gallons of gas for the inconvenience. We have bought
2 vehicles from them in the last four years but will never go back to South
Oak Dodge for anything. Were thinking of trading the Ram in for a Toyota Tundra.
And they wonder why the Big Three need a goverment bailout.

i was lied to, i feel i was cheated, and even after talking to the owner i have
been left out to dry!!!!!!
i was not given what i was promised for my trade
i was lied to about lease terms
i went in owing less than book and 4 months later found out i have $14,000 in
negative equity. I GUESS THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG AT SOUHT OAK DODGE
do not trust anyone not even the owner at south oak dodge. they will tell you
what ever you wan to hear. then screw you!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. i did not even get any lube in the glove box.

Bought a 2001 Dodge Ram from them they where very honest and fair with there
price didn't have to haggle with them.
The only small complaint I have was they had the spare in the bed so it wouldn't
get stolen at the dealership and they forgot to install it back on. Very minor,
but overall a very good experience would go back again.

This was one of the best dealerships that I have ever dealt with. Would recommend
anyone to do business w/ them.
