The customer service representative and the general manager of the dealership were rude and their customer service was very much unsatisfactory. When confronted about a mistake that the customer service representative had made with the paper work for my vehicle, the customer service rep said, "Yeah I made a mistake, can't do anything about you're just out of the money." This is unsatisfactory. I am personally out of money because the customer service rep told me that my license plates were of no more use. When I talked to the general manager he said, "No one told you to throw away your plates." I had no way of knowing that your customer service rep was going to make a mistake of that magnitude, so now I have to purchase new plates. I am in the Navy and my area Legal department will be notified of the poor customer service from your particular dealership and I can guarantee your dealership no one in the military will step foot any where near your dealership. I have also contacted a lawyer and we will be contacting you very soon. I wish I could give you your vehicle back and we will see if that is an option.

Excellent deal on the auto I bought Jerry Campion was the most helpful person I have ever bought a car from. I wouldn't think twice about ever buying a car from them again. Thanks Jerry.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Avoid,
Purchased 97 Dodge Ram (53k miles) in summer of 2001. Experienced a number of sensor and engine problems stemming from bad engine computer, which was eventually recalled by Dodge. The bad ECM is not cause for complaints. However, the axle joints also went out in the first two weeks we owned the vehicle. The dealer's aftermarket warranty company informed me after inspection that the joints were a 'pre-existing condition', and that they would not cover them. When I informed the dealer that they had sold me a truck with bad axle joints (according to their own warranty company), I was given the run-around, ignored, lied to, and eventually given vague promises of possibly seeing some money back for the work (which I had done in Iowa, where I live...although one of the managers told me, AFTER I had the work done, that I would have to drive back to Chicago to have the work done if I wanted them to cover it...drive from Iowa across Illinois with bad axle joints...right)! . Never did see any money back on that.
The sales staff was very professional (at least Dennis Stempke was), but the service staff, and the managers, were horrible. When I wasn't being given the runaround ("oh, no, you need to talk to HIM, not ME"), and when I actually got through to someone (I NEVER had a single call returned by anyone after leaving literally dozens of messages over the course of a few months), I had to threaten them with legal action or contact with the BBB to get any sort of help or even acknowledgment of the problem at all.
Seems like this place, at least the managers and service department (not the sales staff), is out to make a quick buck off of you, and then give you no service in return. They don't care about customers at all, not from my experience.
