We now have 2 Chrysler products and have most of the Chrysler specific service (repairs involving computer diagnostics and engine/drive train repairs) completed at Kidd. We also had our AC completely repaired. All work was done in the time frame promised and the original cost estimate has always been very close to the bill we paid. We even had an instance where we paid less than the estimate!

I bought a SRT-10 Viper truck in JUN of 04. Had a few minor warranty issues with it and was taken care of. In OCT of last year had clearcoat issues with two of the wheels peeling. Took it to the dealership and they took pictures to send to Daimler Chrysler. Waited a week and had to call back to find out status. The Service Manager Buzz said it had been denied. I called back to try to talk to the District Mgr that denied the claim. First he was out on sick leave. Two weeks later after no response I called and he was on vacation. A week later I called and was told that he doesn't talk to customers. WTF??? I filed a complaint with the Great lakes Customer Service Center. I have yet to have anyone contact me regarding this. You would think buying a 50K truck you would get better service. My girlfriend was looking for a SUV and was considering a Durango. I told her to buy a Denali due to this experience. I was looking at a Viper and a C6 Corvette. No way would I spend my money with Kidd Dodge or DC. That is 130K they lost in sales just from me THIS year. Stay away from this dealership, especially Buzz the Service Manager. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

not one person at this dealership is responsible for answering questions regarding complaints. they do not honor warranty. simple repairs take longer then necessary (sometimes months) existing problems still not fixed. they said we will try to fix the problem but we will not give
you paper work regarding attempted repairs. (is this legal) i still have not received my warranty card that i was promised. no one knows who i should contact in regards to this matter. i have an open case with the BBB and will continue to keep it open until i am satisfied. after all it's only an $18,000 investment. bad engine, bad transmission, bad vibrations in reverse and neutral. passing gear out. no power. poor customer service, poor service manager, poor repairs. this dealership has the poorest customer satisfaction rate in southeastern indiana.

Kidd placed an add in the local press that stated 2003 Sebring $10,988. I called and asked what mileage the cars had. The salesman informed me that there were 3-4 with between 15000 and 18000 miles. I hung up the phone and drove straight there. When I arrived the lowest mileage Kidd had
was over 30000. When I got home, I had my wife call and ask what mileage the Sebrings had. She was told that some were available with 18000 miles.

I thought that it might just be me. In Feb. 2002 we bought our first new car. Granted our credit wasn't the best at the time, but we were approved. The interest rate was no where near what the salesman had told us nor were the payments. But, being first time buyers I didn't realize that we could walk away at anytime prior to signing paperwork. So I have been driving my Stratus since then. When I took the car for the first oil change (at the dealership as advised by the staff as that would support the warranty better)I noticed a few days later that it had started making a strange ticking noise. I then called to have them take a look and they (on 4 to 5 separate occasions) either didn't hear the noise or thought that it wasn't anything serious. But I say it wasn't making this noise until they changed the oil the first time and half of them don't even hear it. (My father owns a body shop and has many mechanic friends who all think that probably during the oil change the car was started without oil in it.) DUH! Even I know better than that and I am just a woman. (At least that is the way they treated me)
Long story short, we returned March 2004 to consider trading in for something else and did all the test driving, paperwork, trade in doo-dah on the Stratus and were told that all should be great, credit had improved so that would get lower % on financing, would call as soon as the deal was done. Aside from the few calls that myself and my husband have made to see what the status is, we have heard nothing and that was will be 2 weeks ago this Sat. In the conversations that we have had with the salesman which is the same one that we used the first time, he can't give any concrete figures or information, his story about what is going on has changed drastically from what he said when we were there and I think that he is just taking us for a ride. (Besides I don't like to be called Honey, Darling, or Doll by anyone besides my husband) We are going this weekend to look elsewhere and I hope that we do find something so that if he ever does call and have things all set for us I can say that we have had our new vehicle for X amount of time and didn't think we were going to hear from him since it didn't seem to be a priority for him when it was for us so we bought at X dealership where we were treated with respect and got what we wanted.
I think that this not working out is someone trying to tell us something. We will take our money elsewhere!
Thanks Kidd!!!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=Yes,
I went in to look at a vehicle this dealership had in the paper on 4/3/03 and it was conveniently "at another branch" I am not sure if it existed in the first place because they didn't want to discount any trucks with the same options to as low as that truck was in the paper... I should have known something was wrong.
Then during price negotiations Mark Shinkle the rep I contacted keep asking what the other dealership King's Dodge had priced the vehicle at... but would never say how much they could price a vehicle at... it was always "well whatever they said they would take for it I am sure we can beat it" I don't know about other people but generally a dealership works out it's own deals... they don't let someone else haggle prices for them.
So of course near the end of my conversation there was a vehicle that was a "demo" (driven by a rep) with 5625 miles on it. Mark said he could knock a couple thousand off the price for me... well that made me happy... so against my better judgment I decided I would bring my wife out and get her stamp of approval to buy it.... sad thing is I even e-mailed King's dodge saying i trusted them more... basically admitting I was being an idiot for going through these guys before I even got screwed.
So we do all the bartering and work out a deal based on mileage and the fact no one ever pays MSRP I got them down pretty good... about $3,500... $2000 of that being for the mileage. Then I pull out the employee discount info... and I thought it was a % rate off but it was just a flat amount per truck.. so haggling the MSRP was silly... but I double checked and he said the $2k for mileage was still viable.
I get to the table and start signing papers.. it seemed a little high but I was thinking it was the taxes title and registration.. which of course was silly because I was paying those with a check.... i get home and notice the $2k for mileage was not on there.
I call them up and talk to Mark Shinkle, he passes me off the the finance guy, the finance guy passes me back to Mark... mark says he can't do anything about it.
Mark was adamant that this was not a used car. I asked... what is nearly 6000 miles of use called??? He of course can't answer something like that because any answer would sound just plain stupid.... so I ask for a manager.... and of course get hung up on in the process of the phone transfer (accidental? not sure)
I wait about 30 mins... of course neither of them call me back... because well that would be courteous... and mind you I was not frothing at the mouth yet... no swearing... I was just asking for them to make it up to me in some fashion.
So I call Rob Green the manager. I talk to him a bit... he seems confused about what 5625 miles on a vehicle means also... says he can't help me.
I ask how he feels about losing his 5 star dealership title and a complaint with the BBB... he says he doesn't mind because he will earn it right back... and that I will be written off by the BBB anyway because a written contract is stronger than verbal.
Well I ask you this? Why the hell would I buy a car with approx half a year of use on it for the same price as new? I mean seriously... with the employee discount being a flat dollar amount per vehicle why would I choose the USED one? Obviously they have to know that I am in the right on this.
So I am trying to get this info to as many people as possible so that they lose business... the attitude that they are above the BBB and Dodge is NOT acceptable behavior.
And yes I have logged a complaint with dodge... I am looking for a regional member and I have the www.bbb.org open in another window.
Do not buy from these people... they are shady as hell.

First, time I took my truck for service, they put a dent in the side. Second time, was fine. Third time, they had my car for over a week and still didn't get the part so I went and picked it up. Fourth time, replaced the part, which gives the mileage, opens garage door, temperature, etc. Fixed the tire pressure, but now garage door won't work. Fifth time, they told me they cleared the codes and I needed to set the garage door...duh, that's what I have done for a week trying to get it to work. They did call the company about the codes and they told me how to program it, I've been doing that...it doesn't work. I'm going to try another dealer.

Rude sales approach, The sales associate I have been in contact with, Bob Everage, is very impolite to prospects. He likes it when my husband is there, however treats woman as if they are not educated. Hmmm, I am the breadwinner and make the buying decision, I decided to take my business where the dealership treats all equal.
Your dealership has had 3 chances in the past 3years to get our business. All three times your salesmen are either uneducated or rude in answering questions. I prefer a dealership that answers the questions I need answered.
