Our new truck had a couple of problems. I took it to the dealership for a strange
noise and a crack in the dash. I called on Monday, the 27th of December and
my appointment was for the 30th. When I arrived there, the service manager,
Mike was very cordial. He showed my son and I to the waiting room. We were informed
by him that they couldn't hear the rattle and that the dash was not under warranty
because it was not damaged at the factory. It had to have happened since then.
He also told me that it was not a crack, but a scratch. He informed me then
that I did not need a new dash but that my salesman would have to arrange to
have it fixed and that it would be no problem. Since he was in the process of
selling a vehicle, the service manager gave me our salesman, DAN MCCOY's, card
and told me to call him when I got home. When I did, he was VERY rude to me.
He told me that we knew that there were some scratches on the truck when we
bought it. (It had been a demo.) I thought it odd at the time that they did
not offer to fix any of the scratches for us. He told me that he did not think
that the dealership should fix the dash because it had taken us so long to let
them know about the dash. I told him at that point that he would fix it. We
did not pay $20,000 for a vehicle to have one that had a crack in it. Then,
he offered to talk to the sales manager, Mike Keller. He then called me back
to tell me that he had put in a call to the vinyl repairman. He comes on Thursdays
to fix things. Depending on the cost of the repair, we would discuss payment
at that time! Then, he wished me a Happy New Year! I was still very upset. I
felt like we had done something very stupid. He didn't really care about us
since he had our money. They also did not find our rattle.
We won't go back to Tomkinson Dodge to purchase any other vehicles!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Poor,
Bought a used vehicle - I told them I needed to have 4 wheel ABS, they checked
the window sticker and said it did. In recent bad weather I found that it did
not. It's not that they are malfunctioning but the vehicle only has 2 wheel
ABS. Do not trust anything they say.
