Sales=Poor, Service=Avoid, Parts=Fair, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I've taken more than one vehicle to more than one Davis Moore dealership and the results have been the same more often than not... poor! The last time I serviced my Chevy truck (windshield replacement), they broke my antenna, my driver side mirror, and forgot to reconnect the washer fluid tubes. When I confronted them about the broken parts, I was told "it came in that way" and the service tech walked away while I was talking to him.
I made the mistake of buying my Dodge truck at a different Davis Moore dealership. Not only was the sales department difficult to deal with (I'm not talking about the price), but they got me pulled over by the police the same day I picked up the truck. They filled out my temporary tag incorrectly! I left a message that night to have a new tag ready when I showed up the next day. Not only did they not have a new tag ready, but I had to put it on myself. I was handed the tag and a screwdriver. Not even an apology.
As for their ability to fix the problems with my Dodge truck... incompetent at best. I'm more displease with my 2001 Dodge Ram than I was with my 1988 C1500 (which was old and well-used). Unfortunately, I already gave my dad the Chevy. It still runs good so I won't burden him with the Dodge when I'm done with it. Either Rams are built incorrectly or they're difficult to fix. In either case, I'll never buy another Dodge and I'll never buy from Davis Moore again.
I should mention the reason I rated the sales department poor isn't because of the price of the truck. It's because no matter how many times I told them I didn't want the "extras" they came back with a price that included them. I finally had to have them write down everything they were including so I could literally cross things off the list. I ended up with want I wanted (except for the spare tire, which was missing) for a price that all parties liked, but I never expected a struggle like that about "extras". I didn't leave there feeling good about having a new vehicle.
Most of my friends have had difficult experiences (usually incomplete service) with Davis Moore but some have had good ones. In all fairness, I'm sure most of the individuals care about customer service and try to do a good job. Unfortunately I haven't seen the level of professionalism one should expect from an operation the size of Davis Moore.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid, bought there=No, scv_there=Yes,
Have dad problems with breaks since new. Tried several times to get fixed. Now is out of factory warranty, and am told the additional service contract will not cover. The ABS/emergency light comes on at different times. The door speakers rattle real bad. The catalytic converters rattle in their shell. The power door lock on driver's side functions some times.
This truck, 1999 Dakota slt is only 4 years old and when you pay x-amount of dollars you should get what you pay for. It now looks like I have bought a paid for a junker. Would I buy another? No way. If the lousy service departments will not cover a car that is 4 years old with the additional service contract I certainly do not need another Chrysler. I was up to buying a no 300M and I promise it will not happen. Was thinking along the paths of the Mercedes 480sel but because they’re a part of Chrysler they also will miss a sale. Be wise folks, your service depts. Can and will make or break you.
You people build cars and won't stand behind your craftsmen ship. You sold me what I thought was a great truck and when the time has come to back up what you make your not there. There is a new Studebaker XUV that is being built, it's all American and I think I will see how they stand behind their warranty.
