I went to have recalls done on my vehicle and my check engine light was on. The first problem wasn't a big deal until everything else happened. When I took my car in to be serviced they loaned me a car. However, it was completely empty on gas. So, not thinking there would be a problem, I filled up the car. When I went to pick up my car, they refused to reimburse me for the gas I put in. They said that they provide the car and we provide the gas. So I was a bit upset about that. Then when I got into my car, the gear shift knob was broken. I had an aftermarket gear shift put into the car. And part of it fell off into my hand when I drove away. Then I noticed that my aftermarket stereo had been completely messed with. The bass, treble and fade in and balance were all at different levels than I had them. They were not at the factory defaults, which would mean, they could have just disconnected the battery or unplugged the radio.

When I bought my truck, my Dynasty had just died for the second time in a week and my dream truck has always been a Dodge Ram. Was originally going to get a '99, but I sold a few hours before we got back there. Bought a 2WD '97 1500 with the 5.2L with 37,000 miles. Love the truck, but paid too much. Salesman said she had the trailer-tow package, but didn't. Several other things he said we later discovered weren't right. Had to replace fuel pump two weeks and shocks one month later. Thank goodness for service plans. Service department is wonderful, especially Joe and Tim, always willing to explain the techie stuff to an ignorant girl. Would do some things different (lower price, make them comp fuel pump or take back, etc.), but I love the truck. Dodge rules the road!!!
