I wanted to purchase a Chrysler Town and Country in 2004, almost bought it from
a competitor in Wichita, KS. Winfield Motor offered the same price and gave
me a better trade-in on my vehicle.
I have since bought another van from them and am happy with the results. They
have even offered to pick-up my vehicle and leave me with a loaner vehicle during
the service trips, since I do not live close by and one of their employees lives
in my vicinity.
Couldn't ask for better customer service. They have always been honest in their
dealings and have always been completely professional.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, bought there=No,
Truck went back and forth to shop 3-5 times in March-April 2000 for rearend
noise with ~40,000 miles on it? After first time nothing was fixed and looking
at the ticket they hadn't even wrote down the exact description. Had no idea
what they were looking for. Took it back two more times, still couldn't find
problem but went ahead and tore apart and replaced bearings. Truck then had
a moderately loud whine in rearend at higher speeds. Service manager and lead
mechanic neither said they could hear it and weren't taking responsibility for
the noise. Took to another shop and they confirmed there was somewhat excessive
noise in rearend but wouldn't touch it since Winfield motors had just worked
on it. I then just dealt with it until now...December 2002. Whine has become
a rough sound at slow speeds and local shop informs it is probably pinion bearing
and sounds like gears weren't set back up correctly. Rearend needs to be rebuilt.
Now I am going to be out $1500 to rebuild the rearend due to Winfield motors
not fixing it correctly. The truck only has 102,000 miles on it. I refuse to
ever use their shop again and probably will never buy another dodge.
I talked to someone at Dodge customer service about Winfield motors and my experience
when I was having problems in 2000. She said she could do nothing for me and
Dodge has no "jurisdiction" over their service policies. She really led me to
believe that as long as a dealership is selling cars that Dodge could care less
about their service depts. I am overall very disappointed in Dodge and my experience
with my truck. Will probably buy something else if I can ever get out of this
truck.
