Bought a 2001 Ram QC, 6-speed,diesel,loaded, Twenty eight days after owning this truck the trany locked up in the middle of the road "I-75" To be exact, I slid over a grassy embankment. I was on my way to a funeral and ended up sitting there next to the road while I talked to the dealership on my phone, they said that a rollback was on the way, "NOT". It was 12 noon the next day before It was picked up. I stayed in a motel. I get a ride home, call Cornett's to find out what happened to my truck, They say It will be a few days that they will call back. I waited 2 weeks and called. The reply "You need a new tranny old one busted it's on backorder and may be months before well get one". So I call a friend that works at another Dodge dealership, he told me that a warehouse in Memphis had two tranny's that Cornett's should have been able to get one. I call Cornett's back told them what I had found out. They then tell me that they get there parts from another warehouse. I then call DaimlerChrysler, the rep then conference call Cornett's and told them that they would have they tranny arriving at their dealership by noon in two days!! And yes I was fixed in two days plus delivered. The sad part is the bill, you would think by just owning this truck less than 30 days that the dealership would stand behind a 2001 truck, but they gave me a bill of $5400!!! I had to haggle and finally got to leave paying only $1900 That's not right!! The factory warranty to 100,000 only covers the motor on a diesel. Cornett's tried to charge me retail and I already had my buddy to price everything to me. Exa: tranny retail-$4800 dealer cost is between $1900-$2100, so watch out and check around for prices.
I like my truck a lot but can't stand for a dealership to treat me like I'm stupid!!

I called Cornett Chrysler on a Monday and asked if they had a regular cab 1500 2WD in stock and asked about the rebates. They said they have a great "availability" of them and I drove an hour to go check them out and when I got there they didn't have a one, then they started telling me about Dakotas and other trucks, I let them talk me into a Quad Cab Dakota (big mistake) and I bought it and took it home, two weeks later I get a call from Chrysler and they tell me I'm not even approved thru them, I call the dealership and they tell me I need to bring the truck back, I take it back which was humiliating after I put 300 miles on the truck and they end up getting me approved thru somewhere else, then I drive the truck another two weeks and a guy from Chrysler calls me and tells me that Cornett's had sold me a truck and was supposed to put a check valve(?) in the transmission and didn't. I call Cornett's for an appt. to keep my trans from burning up and they acted rude and said they didn't know what I was talking about, I guess they got my money off the truck and didn't want anything else to do with me, so I called my hometown dealer (where I should have bought it in the first place) and they got it in the next day and already had the parts in stock, and gave me a rental car even though I didn't buy it there. Thanks Tim Short's for when I buy another one, you'll be the guys I see. Trade at Tim Short Chrysler if u can.

I drive 1 hour to Cornett Chrysler in Irvine, KY. & drive home in my new truck. Now they know how to treat a customer. I would highly recommend this dealer!!!!!
