Sales=Excellent, Service=Good,
I bought a used 01 ram at Tim Short's and they treated me like family. Once
we agreed on figures it took them about 20 minutes to get me out of there. Since
then I have sent 4 family members to buy vehicles there and they service my
truck every three thousand miles, no hassle. Thanks Tim Short Chrysler, you're
the best in my book.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
I went to this dealer on a Saturday looking for a 2500 quad cab diesel, but
they did not have what I was looking for. They said that they would be glad
to locate one for me, but it would be Monday before they would know. I said
OK. Monday goes by & no word from the dealer. Tuesday goes through 3/4 the day
& I call them & they say they have a few located , but they will call me tomorrow
(Wed.) with the details. 2 weeks go by & no call or anything. I drive 1 hour
to Cornett Chrysler in Irvine, KY. & drive home in my new truck. Now they know
how to treat a customer.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I purchased a used 2001 Ram 1500 and knew the day I bought it that it had a
leaking vacuum hose. I thought no big deal since it was under warranty. I called
the service department at Tim Short Dodge and they said bring it in on the following
Monday and they would fix it. Saturday night before that Monday the check engine
light came on and the Trans overheated. I took it to them Monday morning and
left it all day. They never even looked at it (service manager said so). They
could have fixed the vacuum leak in five minutes since I went ahead and tracked
it down and showed the service manager where the hole was, but no. He didn't
even pull the trouble code from the computer. I didn't get upset, but just allowed
him to make me an appointment for the coming Friday of that week and I would
leave it there and walk down the street to my office. I dropped it off Friday
morning (the service manager didn't even offer me a ride to work , and I'll
not discuss how rude he was). When I called at 2:00 Friday afternoon, the service
manager said that he would not be able to look at it again! in that day and
that it would be two more weeks until they could schedule me another appointment.
I asked him if they could at least fix the vacuum leak and read the codes so
I would feel more comfortable driving it. He refused, said they didn't have
time. He went on to say that even new trucks had computer codes in them that
could make the light come on and he was SURE that it was nothing. Yea, right
and I'm an idiot. I decided to bite the bullet and drive an hour to another
dealership to get my work done. I wouldn't let Tim Short's guys work on a go
cart much less my truck.
