In Feb. of 2005 I was having a problem with my transmission leaking. I went to a local transmission repair place in Alexandria and he told me that it was my seal and something else with the pan. But the man told me that he won't touch it because it should still be covered under the warranty. So I took my vehicle to M&M Dodge and told them what the guy said and they checked it and said that it was not the seal, but it was the clamps and hose. And also that I needed a transmission flush. So I did as they said that I needed to do. It was a year to the date that I started having the same problems again. I took it over to the dealership and spoke with them about the problem and they told me that maybe I could bring it back whenever they had a transmission specialist. I wonder if they had a specialist at the time I took it to them the first time. I emailed the head of service and to no surprise he never emailed me back. But as soon as a get a good dealership to look at it, I am never going to go back there again. I have also shared my experience with some other people that have done business with them and several people have told me similar stories about transmission jobs. I don't think these people need to have a service department. They are sorry!!!

I bought a new 1999 dodge ram 1500 in june 1999 paid 22k for the truck. Two days later had transmission leaking fluid.
Brought truck into service department and they kept the truck one week. Truck continued to leak and was brought back 4 times before they replaced the trans with a rebuilt transmission. Requested a brand new factory trans but they refused.
More later on transmission; Had a bad squeak between cab and bed that was never fixed after two attempts.
A few years later with 52,000 miles trans went out and cost me $3000 to replace. One month later AC went out.
Traded this lemon in on a Chevy never will I buy a dodge pickup or anything else for that matter from M&M dodge of Alexandria, La. They do not service what they sell.

I brought my 2000 Dodge Ram truck to M&M to get a rear window seal fixed twice because it was leaking. They could not fix it after two attempts, so I bought a tube of .$99 clear caulk and did it myself. I also bought a car from M&M Dodge in 1998. I had to bring it back in to the service department a total of 14 times over a one year period. Even though it was a brand new car, it had a lot of problems, but the service department could not seem to ever fix them. I contacted the arbitration board and finally ended up trading the car at another dealership. Recently I decided to give them one more chance and talked to a salesman about a 2002 Dodge Dakota. The salesman admitted to me that the entire service department needed to be revamped and that we were not the only ones who had complained to him about it. M&M would not even try to give us a deal on a new truck, which they are also known for. We ended up driving to Lafayette and bought a new truck that day from Acadiana Dodge and we love it.
