I went in to Dartmouth Dodge ready to buy a truck. My 98 Dakota had 160,000
miles. My son and I stood outside next to the truck I wanted to buy. After 20
minutes I went inside. Another 10 minutes and no one. I went to the sales manager's
desk and said to him, "There is a truck I would like to buy." (Buying
sign) He got a sales person for me. After speaking with him for 2 or 3 minutes
he said he would be back in 5 minutes. I saw him drive in his car to McDonalds
for lunch. I went back to the sales managers desk and said, " You see this
title to my truck?" yes he said. "See this money order for 10,000
dollars?" with his eyes popping he said yes. "You will be able to
find them at the Dodge dealership in Raynham." We left with and had a wonderful
experience in Raynham. I have bought parts to dress up my truck at Dartmouth
and they are wonderful. Speaking to the service department there, they have
no clue.

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I'll tell you just two experiences from me. Not the other 5 or more from people
who live in the area. Dartmouth Dodge tried to sell me the finance manager's
personal truck. When It was out of my reach because the price was $2.000.00
over what it was worth. Then they tried to sell me a junk truck with a smashed
in tail gate. They stated that they could fix that. It didn't sound convincing.
I walked out. They think they have the public by the arm. The second time was
when I had to wait for a friend who was towing their newly bought truck back
to the dealer. As I was in the show room on the other side of a van, I heard
the sales men laughing about how they screwed people today and how funny it
was to talk to people like they were stupid. As my friend's truck came in the
lot they looked and laughed Ha! ha! here's another one! I tell everyone I know
about these true stories so they don't have to go through this. It is a horrible
place to buy an automobile. If you want to get screwed go here! They should
shut it down and and get new managers and new sales help to really build a good
Dodge Dealership in Dartmouth!
When you drive by this dealership and see people pulling in, they are either
lost, never been to this dealership or are getting their vehicles fixed due
to the porking they got when they bought them. Everyone views this dealership
this way in this town and surrounding ones!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=Yes,
We agreed on a price, made a deal, signed the papers and took the truck home.
We returned a few days later to pick up the registration and have the sticker
put on and were told the Finance Manager recorded the wrong loan payoff amount
on our trade-in. They did the paperwork over and needed us to resign. The only
problem is, they had increased the monthly payment! When we refused to sign
the paperwork, we were then talked to rudely, blamed for the mistake, intimidated
and harassed. They started the negotiation process all over again. Even though
our salesman was wonderful and stood behind us 100%, the finance manager and
sales manager still tried to renegotiate. When we would not budge on increasing
the payment, the finance manager very rudely threatened that we could always
just take our old truck back. We had already put 600 miles on the new truck
and really did like the truck, we will not be threatened or bullied into an
agreement that we did not make because the finance manager made a mistake recording
the loan amount. The sales manager just sat back in his chair, stared at my
husband and said "We did the best we could do." While waiting outside for the
old truck back, the salesman, who we do not have any complaint against, came
out to say he finally convinced the sales manager that the original agreement
must be kept. It was already too late. We feel like we were treated unfairly.
We feel like they were trying to pull a scam on us. We have purchased 3 new
Dodge vehicles prior to this and have never experienced anything like this.
I am sad that I will no longer be able to deal with my wonderful salesman, but
I will never return to that dealership. I will never give them another dime
of my money. Be Careful!!!! We took a copy of the original agreement with us
as proof, make sure you do the same.
