Sales=Poor, Service=Poor, Parts=Poor, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I bought my 2000 Dodge Intrepid from them on October 29, 2005 (picked up 11/1/05). 35,707 miles on it. They showed me 4 pages of repairs when I bought it. I checked with them to see if there were any more repairs done and if all of the recalls were taken care of. Before they went out of business, they had 12 PAGES of repairs that I did NOT see prior to purchase. I also had over $5,000 worth of repairs done to my car before the 90 day full coverage warranty was up! My fuel pump failed and it took them 2 months and service at another Dodge dealership to convince them there was something wrong with it. They lectured me on wasting their time for something that didn't need to be repaired.
Also, my evaporator needed to be replaced because the car sat so long at the dealership without being moved that it developed a large amount of mold and FrigiFresh couldn't fix it. My brakes were replaced when the car was originally traded in that June. The brakes were pitted when I bought it. I was driving and could barely break IN SNOW that November. I had them replace them and they through the alignment way off. When I was on the highway with a 4 month old and her mother, I was in so much pain from the resistance in my wrists that my wrists gave way and we went from the slow lane of a 3 lane highway to the fast lane before I could get a grip on it again.
Please use my experience with this dealership to warn you about Dodge's practices. I was a diehard Dodge fan prior to this experience. DaimlerChrysler said that since it was an independent franchise they couldn't do anything to help me. Since I changed my service to Farina in Marlborough (which is now also out of business), I have not had a single repair needed in almost 2 years.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No,
I took my 98 Ram 1500 4x4 to Great Road Dodge for a 60,000 mile service and a front wheel alignment. I received a call from Bob. The first words out of his mouth were, "the throttle body is all coked up, we need to remove it, soak it to clean it and replace it. Also, your serpentine belt is cracked and needs replacing." Well, my rip-off radar went off right there as I had just replaced the serpentine belt, doing the work myself. I told Bob this. No reaction from him. I thought about just picking the truck up right there but decided I was just being paranoid. We agreed on a short list of items to be done. When I picked the truck up, there was a bill for $110.00 for removing cleaning and replacing the throttle body, but the throttle body had obviously not been touched. When I pointed this out to Bob, the man showed not a trace of contrition, saying that what they had done is clean the throttle body without removing it an the $110.00 was the standard charge!
"in the computer" for that work. His reaction made it very clear to me that Great Road Dodge has a dishonest culture of billing whatever they can get away with. I have no doubt they would have ripped me off $90.00 for an unneeded serpentine belt also if I had not called them on this.

Sales Bad, Service worse. AVOID at all cost. Dodge don't want your business, they sure don't work for it after the sale. Spent $40k on a truck at Great Road Dodge. Not one good thing to say about this dealership. I still own my dodge however I receive excellent service from Burlington Dodge. Go to Burlington Dodge!
I have never even taken the time to fill anything like this out before. However the service I have received from Great Road Dodge is by far the worst service I have ever encountered. Just a heads up!

Sales=Avoid, Service=Good, Tried to trade my Durango (which they wouldn't sell to me 2 years before) for another one but only offered me 54% BELOW blue book value on the trade. Ended up buying a Toyota Highlander instead. Website advertises that they use Kelley Blue Book but they don't even come close. They only offered me $6000 for a 3 year old loaded Durango! Shows how much faith they have in their product. Also had problems another time on a trade when they gave us a price and then agreed to a deal only to have them call and tell us they over valued the trade by $3000! Needless to say we bought elsewhere. Should have learned my lesson! So bad, I started a website to tell others about them www.greatroaddodgesucks.com.

Someone else on www.greatroaddodgesucks.com has posted "Same experience here. Glad to see I'm not the only sucker they saw coming! I agree, stay away from Great Road Dodge! " to a Great Road thread on the Corporate America Sucks message board.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, Excellent sales and service (especially service.) Very accommodating, never a problem when I bring the trucks ('99 Durango and '99 RAM 2500) for any type of service or problem, more than willing to go the extra mile.   One common area of problems with the 2500/3500 RAMs are the front ball joints being *way* too tight. So far, these guys have kept installing ball joints, all on their own ideas (not mine) to get it right. They finally did, the steering is *mint* now. The service here is stellar, no joke, they are excellent.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Excellent, Service is absolutely outstanding. Tried to buy a second vehicle from salesman and he wouldn't sell me the vehicle. Agreed to price he wanted and I think he realized he gave me a fair price and panicked. Actually told me I couldn't afford the truck. So I took my money and went somewhere else to buy it. Got the same vehicle for slightly less money too. Two years later, still easily making the payments! Sleazy sales, great service.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
Don't Know or no experience
