Salesperson Rich U. was great; the sales manager was playing the typical games
and kept coming up with new "bottom lines" but the finance guy was
the worst. He quoted me a finance rate only to find out he was playing with
the rate to sell me an extended warranty. When I caught him he miraculously
lowered my finance rate and I got the warranty for less of a monthly payment
than he had originally quoted without the warranty. I would never go back there;
too bad, I liked the salesman.

Sales people are very deceptive to say the least, i was filling out a credit
ap before even seeing the truck i wanted to test drive, they gave me a quote
after one hour of haggling but when we were in the finance office two hours
later after waiting i was told the finance amount was $2000.00 higher than the
sales manager said it was he even wrote it down on paper but said we didn't
understand that it did not include my trade payoff amount, i asked him 3 FFFF
times what amount we were financing and he wrote it down on paper but again
when we got to finance managers office it changed by 2000.00........do not trust
these jerks, it sucks that they have to try to screw hard working people like
this but that's the way they do business, just beware......i was wanting to
leave after the change in figures but all of a sudden they changed the figures
amazing isn't it!!!!! idiots pure jerks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to pick up my car after having service. I mentioned to the Finance manager
that I might be interested in trading in my intrepid but want to find out what
it was worth for a trade in. He then hooked me up with Jack.Nice enough guy
in the beginning. He even spent time digging a car out of the snow for me to
test drive. To make a long story short I kept asking for answers like what was
the trade in value and did you find out my pay-off. After 3 hours and informing
Mr. Jack that I needed to leave and I wanted my spare key and to know where
he left my car. He became rude and told me my car must be out in the parking
lot somewhere or maybe in a snowbank. I insisted that I wanted my spare key
and that I would not be making any decisions that night. He then disappeared
again. I finally just left on my own to search the parking lot for my car. I
will never return. I felt like I was being held hostage via my spare key.
My first priority was to lower my payment. Well, hello Jack did you not hear
me or did you just not care.

I called and spoke to Jack looking for a used Volkswagen Beetle for my mother.
He told me they had 4 in stock. We drove down from Northern New Hampshire to
look at them, only to find out they did not have them on the lot. They were
at another location. He told me the first step in buying a car is filling out
a credit application. I thought the first step was actually SEEING the car,
then driving it. He was so rude and deceptive. Needless to say we left, and
he missed out on two sales, because when we went to another dealership, she
found a Beetle and I purchased a brand new Kia Sedona mini van.

For the last time I have brought in my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan for service.
The airbag light never shuts off. And also they found out that the steering
column needed to be replaced. Now I know for a fact that it does not take 4
@#@#@#@#@ days to have a part shipped in and they are so oh well attitude. I'll
tell you this stay away from Herb Chambers and stay away from all Chrysler products
they all suck! Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me!! Once my
van is fixed I'm going to the nearest Ford or Chevy dealer and dumping it for
a SUV. Screw you Herb Chambers & Dodge!!!!!!!

Herb Chambers Dodge is a very good dealership. You may have to wait for a salesman
since they have a lot of traffic in and out, but the difference in price you
can get is well worth the wait. They were the ONLY Dodge dealer in the greater
Merrimack Valley area that had a Ram sport that I wanted, and they had more
than one in stock! Had a good selection of trucks, and very good discounts on
new Dodge Rams. I ended up getting $5300 in discounts and rebates.

Get your truck out of there and don't let them ever touch it again!!!!! I have
had dealing with these fraud-laden, moronic, rip-off artists. These are the
guys who tried to sell a truck that had been hit by a plow truck...and they
didn't notify the potential buyer. As for shocks, RS 9000'sa re about 70 a whack.
As for labor, I live in Everett, about 30 minutes from you. Easy enough to do.
The service rep flat out lied to me and the other reps regarding my tranny problems.
They refused to hook a gauge to it, even though MoparMuscle had pinpointed the
problem to a gov pressure solenoid. I could go on for hours about these idiots!!!!.
I hope someone form this dealer reads this page because I want everyone to know
that HERB CHAMBERS DODGE of DANVERS, MA is a 5-star bunch of........

Ok, I know I have said that Herb Chambers Dodge in Danvers MA really s%^ks,
but this really shows it. A friend of mine was looking at buying a 01 Ram sport,
so she asked me to take a look at it with her. I warned her about Herb Chambers,
but they were the only ones that had what she wanted. Well, The sales "kid",
all of about 19, was a complete A$# hole. He didn't even talk to her, even though
I told him 3 times that she was the one buying the truck. THEN he tells me that
this is too much truck for her. She was about ready to slap this little kid
around, She expressed her displeasure with his attitude. At this point I asked
her if she believed me that this place was a good site for nuclear testing.
Well, in the end, she ordered the truck from where I got mine...210 miles away
in New York. For 50 clams above dealer invoice.
