bought truck from a dodge dealer w/ an extended warranty but I guess then warranty is only as good as the co. behind it. a/c has failed twice now and I have gotten charged for the recharge/freon. both front axle hubs have failed and are not covered. according to dodge they aren't
covered yet bearings are listed as a covered item w/ no exclusions stated. Latest visit was rear axle seal....I was told I needed to clean the axle vent tube@ $100.00 + and this was a required maint. I hadn't done!!!!!!!!!! I'm not totally stupid but have been played for a fool on occasion...
especially by this dealer

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid, Service: I did not buy the vehicle from this dealership, however they were recommended to me for my warrantee work and other service. I have an 01 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel. I took it in with a problem with the drivers seat sagging real bad to the left with only 9000 miles on the truck. I'm not a heavy person, 5'9" 170# I told them the seat cushion on the seat bottom was collapsed. Since I'm only a customer what do I know? I took the truck in for them to look at, the service rep who had a bad attitude from the beginning looked at it and said they would have to send it out to an upholstery shop to be restuffed and I agreed that was the best plan of action. He told me to call him the following week. I called, and he said he needed to take another look at it. Fine I went back to the dealer for him to look at it again.....etc. this is a long story. In the end I visited the dealer a total of 8 times spent close to 30 hours in their waiting room for them to replace the seat back frame, cushion, seat bottom frame, and generally screw around, repair the power seat controls they screwed up in the process. In the end it finally went to the upholstery shop to get the bottom restuffed and that straightened it out on the 8th visit! When I got it back there was a big grease smudge on the passengers side leather seat. They didn't want to do anything about it until I threatened to drive it through the service counter window.
Went in for other routine service and I asked to have the fuel filter changed since the hood was up. I asked how much and the service guy said it shouldn't be much, don't worry about it. $84!!!!!!! for a friggin fuel filter!!! They nailed me one hour labor for it!!! I did the next fuel filter change my self I forget what I paid for the filter, but I bought it direct from Cummins it took me less than 15 min start to finish including priming the system and restarting.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent, Sales: Went to them first. Salesman spent a lot of time with me even after I explained that I was just shopping around. Told him that I was going to shop around, research on the internet and play one dealer against another. He was very understanding and simply asked if when I made my best deal, to give him a call and let him see what he could do. After 3 weeks of shopping and research, I was at another dealer, in Danvers, MA and made a deal on a truck that was not exactly what I wanted. I called the original salesman at John Santillis from the other dealer and told him what the deal was and told him to meet or beat the price and I would drive down that night and buy from him. He called me back within 5 minutes and beat the price by over $400.00. I left and drove 2 hours to buy from John Santillis to make the deal. I have referred friends and family and would buy from them again. Thanks. Service: Dealer went out of the way to accommodate my schedule. Service was done when promised and done right the first time. Thanks! Everything great......I recommend this place highly.
