Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I brought my truck in for 30,000 mile service and some warranty work done I
thought. The drivers side windshield wiper is hitting the hood and chipping
the paint. The paint is bubbling around the passenger side door handle. They
told me they took pictures and sent them to someone to see if it was covered.
On 5-23-06 I for the third time called customer service headquarters and asked
what was going on. By this time I have lost my cool and got a little irate which
was not the thing to do. Ten minutes later I received a phone call telling me
that it would not be covered and that I shouldn't have threatened to drive my
truck through the show room floor. I agree but I was frustrated, the first thing
that goes wrong with my truck I didn't get a phone call for two months telling
me they are still trying to get things worked out. The only time I received
a phone call is when I lost my cool. Now the windshield wiper that is hitting
the hood I would think would be covered due to something not working correctly.
The paint continues to bubble around my door handle and is getting worse. Please
oh please can somebody other than myself take reasonability for faulty workmanship.
I consider what I spent to buy my truck a lot of money. Is it wrong to ask them
to fix what I believe to be a warranty issue. I really like my truck but this
whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Purchased a 2001 Neon. No significant problems with the sales experience, and
the car was great for a good while. When a problem did develop. it seemed inconsequential.
The car sputtered at low speed. I assumed the fuel injectors were dirty, and
had the fuel injection system cleaned, to no avail. I took the car in for service,
after checking the engine codes myself and determined the problem to be a bad
Cam Position Sensor. They said the gas cap was not properly shut and sent me
on my way. Didn't fix it, obviously. Upon the second return trip, I was told
the Fuel Injectors were dirty, and that was non warranty. 185 dollars later,
and the car stalled pulling out of the dealership. 3rd return trip...broken
spark plug wire was the diagnosis, still not fixed. 4th trip, and I was told
the problem was a bad cam position sensor. Problem solved, for about a month.
It is now doing the same thing again.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
I went into purchase a new car. I wasn't sure what I was looking for exactly
but told the sales person I was looking for a specific payment range. He said
he could definitely get me in my range of payment. Found a car I loved, got
approved, everything fine at that point. I had to wait until the following Monday
so I could have my car appraised for trade in. They gave me a car to use for
the weekend until I could pick up my new car on Monday. Needless to say, the
car they gave me broke down on me the next day, left me stranded with no way
to get home and no way to contact them since they are closed on Sundays. I spoke
with them the following day and they didn't even apologize once. Claimed it
was bad gas!! I was leery about continuing with the purchase but thought I would
give them the benefit of the doubt. Went to pick up my new car that night and
they tried to pull a fast one on me with the payments. The finance manager said
the salesman told him I would go $50 above my original payment range which I
never said. He also said that there was no way he could get my payments down
to where I wanted them on the car I wanted. Even if he substantially marked
the car down. Needless to say, they haggled me and thought I was going to be
a stupid customer and just accept a bogus payment that I could never afford.
I walked away from the car and told them to forget the whole deal. A friend
of mine told me she saw someone test driving the vehicle I was to purchase and
the engine blew during the test drive. What a relief I didn't buy the car.

Well let's see my car was bought with 28,000 miles. It is a 2001 Dodge Neon
Es. I have had Neons before and likes them. So I went to dodge and looked at
a used on. They gave me a pretty good deal on my old car and I found a car I
liked. They had just got it in and tried but did not succeed to have me in the
car within a week. But I have had the car in there 3 times now for the same
reason. I am driving and everything turns off. No blinkers no brakes no steering
nothing and the car turns off and you would think this is dangerous and would
be fixed so I thought too. But they returned it twice and it was never fixed.
I have taken it in and told them I know the lemon law in MD. under 14d & 15d
#2 sect. B it says any defect or problem that results in lose of steering and
braking has 1 time to be fixed and then I can ask for a replacement. But there
is only one problem I have put over 3,000 dollars in lowering it and a paint
job and exhaust and things they did at their shop. So if I was you don't buy
from here if you call in a emergency and need your car fixed or even looked
at they love to say "yeah whatever" and hang up. And I am very serious they
have told me this twice since I owned the car.

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid,
Took 2000 Dakota in for thumping and grinding noise in steering. Was told that
the spare tire was not seated properly or tightened to the frame. This was making
the noise travel to the front end where I could hear it! What a crock of #@!*
I took it to another dealership and they replaced the bearings, brake hub assembly,
and the knuckle! To make it even better this was a problem that Chrysler knew
about and sent info to all of the dealerships. From what I saw, I don't think
anyone there has ever worked on a vehicle before! Never trust a service manager
named Tripp!!! 'cause that's what they sent me on.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Avoid,
Dropped off truck for service twice both times they had ordered wrong parts
for small warranty items such as diagnosing a bad speaker they wanted me to
drop off truck for a day and then return a different day to install it. This
dealership had the highest quotes on monthly payments and just acted as if they
did not want to sell a vehicle to you. My nickname for this dealership is disadvantage.
