I went to 5 different dealerships to buy a Jeep Wrangler. My mistake was I went to Carway in Salisbury, MD! First, there were only 2 salesmen there and 1 was an idiot (he wears a Carhart jacket, he doesn't know Dodge products)! Second, the sales manager didn't even get off his FAT A$$ to look at my trade! The other salesman, Mark (one that seemed to have a little sense, but not much) did not know what a Chevy Extreme was. He informed me that they can not trade on a truck that has aftermarket lowering kits. This is a Chevy Extreme! They come like that! All 4 different dealerships I went to appraised my truck at over $11,000.00. This IDIOT sales manager, who didn't even leave his office, said he could not go over $6000.00! Last of all, my wife was there and commented " I don't think he's going to like a jeep". The "IDIOT IN THE CARHART" replied, "who are you, his mother?". If I would have known this while I was there, I would have kicked his A$$ then and there! I will buy a vehicle but seeing that 5 star sign there tells me I won't buy a Diamler Chrysler product. They have IDIOTS that work for them! PLEASE, give my name and address to them. I do hope I have another opportunity to Kick their butts! Don't buy from Carway in Salisbury, Maryland!
I am serious, BUYER BEWARE! This dealership is very unprofessional. The only experience I have with the parts/service dept. was for a recall. I did talk to a former salesman there and he agreed with my comments exactly, that's why he is no longer there. He said they cheat and lie to people and his customers were complaining. This dealership needs to be gutted meaning, they all need fired and respectable/honest salesmen need brought in. DiamlerChrysler, do your homework!!!!

Tried to rip me off on the trade in value of my truck, yet wanted more than top dollar for their pickup. Wouldn't even negotiate on either item. Went across the street got the payoff I wanted and a new truck for less than they were offering. I told them I was looking for 2 vehicles and they lost both sales. Should have negotiated on the one you could have gotten 2 sales out of it. Should be out of business with practices like that.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and avoid CarWay in Salisbury, MD like the plague! The Sales Staff is nice enough, when you're on the hook for a car, and will take the time (when they finally approach you) to be efficient and informative. However, the book on this dealership continues to be written and each chapter SCREAMS out loud about the poor performance of the Service Department. They are discourteous, uninterested and make you feel EACH AND EVERY TIME like you're wasting their time. There's no compassion, no understanding of the frustration associated with the problems you're having and no willingness to work with you like gentlemen to resolve the problem. They even REFUSED my extended warranty, which turned out to be the very best thing ever. I've taken the van to Carlton Massey in Pocomoke...a 45 minute drive from my home but WORTH EVERY MILE DRIVEN! The Service Team was friendly, courteous, we showed up at closing time to drop off the van and they NEVER made us feel rushed. First impressions are lasting. I've purchased my LAST CAR FROM CARWAY, THEY WILL NEVER SEE THE VAN FOR SERVICE AGAIN, and I'll be happy to spend an extra 90 minutes on the road to deal with the team at Carlton Massey. Chrysler should strip CarWay of their banner!

We wanted to buy a Dodge Caravan because we thought they had good prices. However they don't want to work with you on a trade in. We were trading in a 2002 Honda Civic SI. We hadn't even had it a year. The car was purchased for $20,000. We owed 12,000 on it. They came back and said they would only give us 10,000 on the car. They said they were having trouble selling used cars, and couldn't even give us the payoff. When we told him we'd be stupid to take the offer, he just simply said, That he couldn't help us, and we wouldn't be able to get any more for that car. Well, that's not so... we left there, and went straight to Pohanka Mazda, and traded the car in for over 12,000 and bought a Mazda MPV. They lost a big sale. We ended up with something more expensive, because the other dealer was ready to "deal". Carway is a rip off!!!
We will never go back to Carway, and will let everyone we know about our experience. Pohanka is the place to go!!!

The bolts for the Steering Gear box Snapped off the Frame while driving the Truck, total loss of steering since the gear box was hanging loose.  Dealer claimed Truck was abused since it was taken off road to the beach (Driven on the sand).  Had to pay $350.00 for a manufacturing defect.  Bend over please.
