everyone that is saying that this dealer ship sucks and has poor service, sales,
and parts are absolutely wrong. I know first hand that this is one of the better
dealerships in the state of michigan. People are just impatient and don't understand
that it takes time to get the job done. Next time you are not satisfied with
the work do it your damn self. It takes hard work to understand how to work
on a car the right ways so ease up and give them a break. If you weren't so
demanding and thinking you were the ones that knew everything about cars, when
the need the parts and updates then you would not be taking it to get it done
so shut up and let them do there jobs.
I would recommend Crestwood to any and everybody that I know!!

Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I have bought 2 used trucks, a new Ram 1500 (problem now), and a new Dodge Neon
(problem now). Sales has always been excellent and willing to work out an agreeable
deal. The 4WD acted up, service rep noticed light was on, but I was in 2WD.
Service found nothing wrong, but mysteriously, all is well now. In October 2003,
I did an oil change and found only 1.5 qts of oil, and no coolant in the reservoir
tank. Took it in. Service said not the head gasket, but instead the intake manifold
gasket, and replaced. One month later, the reservoir coolant tank is bone dry
again. Tried to go to Dick Scott, but they can not touch it because Crestwood
had it so recently. Crestwood got my truck on Monday evening, returned it Thursday
evening having done nothing. They said they saw evidence of a leak, but could
not pinpoint a leak. Nothing dripping. Would not look at the gaskets at all.
Said it was a non-pressure leak. There has never been a drop of coolant leak
from the engine that I have seen. Also, and I told Crestwood, I can smell coolant
burning after running the engine. Will not do any work until I can find the
leak for them.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
My husbands whole family dealt with a certain sales guy there. He seemed good
for a couple of years. We bought a total of about 8 new trucks (entire family).
I never liked the guy, and told my husband this on many occasions. My dad 63
years old, went out buy his first new car. He was looking for a "basic"
dakota to pull his fishing boat. Being on Soc. Sec. he figured he couldn't go
over 200 for a payment. We called our "guy" at Crestwood. He said
the best he could do would be $265, with a down payment mind you ( on a truck
with no power anything, single cab. I talked my husband into calling a different
dealer. We called Century Dodge, they ran their numbers and came back with a
worse case scenario no more than $198. We decided to call our "guy"
back at Crestwood and ask him why it was so different, he said that " he
must not be figuring in taxes", ok , so we called Century back, he said
" oh yes I am, I'm figuring your taxes after your discounts. That's Right,
the guy we've been dealing with for years was trying to get more money. Needless
to say my dad is driving his first new truck, and loving it. His actual payment
is 211, only because he got the protection plan that if he passes away the truck
is paid for, otherwise it would have been under 200. Crestwood will never get
any of our family business again. Entire family agreed to boycott Crestwood,
next time we'll go to Century, and if they start messing around we'll go somewhere
else.
Never had one problem till 90,000 miles (put on within 3 Years). The water pump
went, and then the oil pump. Great running truck. I will stick with Dodge, just
not with Crestwood Dodge.
It's nice to know that unless you can diagnose the problem yourself, Crestwood
will not fix it. If I could diagnose the issue, I sure wouldn't need them. They
are a step below useless.

The worst service ever...Tried to blame me for a bad water pump as coolant was
pouring all over their floor. Then called about an oil change to go with and
told me my car was not ready. This was a friday afternoon. Closed on Saturday,
called to say it was done on Monday, then charged me the weekend for the loaner
car without my authorization. To top it off, they spilled coolant all over everything,
so when it warms up it smells and when its cold, all the belts are sticky and
make noises....They suck!

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
Spent over six months trying to get seatbelts fixed in a brand new conversion
van. Parts never available. I go in show them what's wrong. They say they'll
order the part and contact me when it comes in... They never do. I call a few
weeks later. Oh yeah. Sorry, the parts are in. Bring it in a we'll swap them
out right quick. I bring it in the next morning... It takes them over two hours
to do it. Thinking I'm sitting pretty good, cause I'm glad that's done. A couple
of days later going on a little trip with some friends and low and behold stupid
me didn't think to check over the dealerships work... the seatbelts still don't
work Not that they didn't change any thing but they fixed it WRONG. A few weeks
later, I take it back and show them... guess what they tell me... They say they'll
order the part and contact me when it comes in. They never do. I had forgotten
about it for a while and called them after a trip to find out what happened.
Nothing happened ... part never ordered... I never got a call... NOTHING....
Seatbelts still don't work. I was going to say POOR for SERVICE, but you are
better off just avoiding them.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
They HATE doing scheduled maintenance and absolutely resist on every level to
replace warranted parts that have failed or recalled parts replacement. Never
let them replace spark plugs as they have no clue how to gap them correctly.
Scheduling an appointment and getting it done at appointment time is impossible.
AND, they love to overcharge or charge you for warranted work. PARTS department
on the other hand, is fairly reliable and honest...no problems there.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Avoid,
I waited for 4 days for a part to come in. They are changing good parts because
it is recommended even though I have changed them. I have to contact them for
updates. This was my first time and my last. I will stay with Dick Scott.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid, Changed a working air conditioner compressor
that was functioning just fine. I suspect to charge Chrysler for repair work.
Routed a hose over a motor mount, big surprise it burst 1 year later. Refused
to repair, cost me $300 to fix AC on a 2 year old car. Dealership owner unresponsive.
This Chrysler employee now shops elsewhere.
