I took my Ford E150 conversion van in for spongy brakes. I was told that I needed
front and rear brakes for a price of $300. I got a call 2 hours later asking
me how to get the lug nuts off because I had locking lugs on the tires. How
could they ascertain that I needed rear drums and shoes with the tires on? They
went ahead and did the work and charged me $569 for the brake job and the brakes
are still spongy. In addition, now I am feeling the pulse from a supposedly
new rotor that replaced the old warped one that did not have a pulse with the
pedal. To top it off, it was dropped off for service at 7:30 am and not returned
to me until 5:30 the next evening.

Sales=Fair, Service=Avoid, Parts=Fair, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I bought a 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T in October of 2002. The day after a bought
the car, my wife and I took the car in because of a rusty residue under the
hood, doors, trunk, and entire body. They blamed it on brake dust. The car has
been in there a lot of times now and they still won't do anything. I got my
oil changed at a different Dodge dealer, and they pointed out that under the
hood was some rust. After examining it, we saw paint bubbling and all of the
weld seams were rusting. This dealer said the car could not of been rust proofed
from the factory and it needed to go back to henkels for replacement of the
vehicle. I took it too henkels again, a new body shop manager said this is a
big problem. Next the dealer rep. looked at it. I was told I would be contacted.
I have tried contacting that rep for 2 months now and no news.....THEY WANT
TO SELL A CAR THEY WON'T STAND BEHIND...now I'm S.O.L. and I just ate $26,500.00
on a lemon.............Thanks.......!
