I wanted to order a new truck. Sales lady sat us down at a desk then brought for a Dodge up on the computer. I asked what she was doing as I can build out the truck i want that way at home?
She didn't know how to do the order a truck the way I wanted. We were left to twiddle our fingers while she and some other sales person tried to figure out how to do what I wanted. then the insult of offering me $3000 less than low blue book for my trade in truck. I got $500. over blue book from the dealer I did buy from.
Kranes might be ok if you are not trading and if you are buying some thing off their lot, other wise do your self a favor and go to another dealer. If you think I'm wrong then at least compare them before signing on the line.

I want to buy/order a new truck. Met at the door by a sales woman. She said she could help me out with the ordering. then proceeded to use the computer to do 4 a dodge Just like I can at home. I told her I could get the same information at home and didn't need her for that.
She took the sheet with the list of things I wanted in my new truck and had some body else figure it out. I never got to see that figure, I was left to twiddle my thumbs while it was done. Then they double teamed me with a over all cost of the truck minus rebates and trade in I was told. they were $3500.00 higher that the place I did order it from.
No offence to woman sales people intended but that is the second time starting in 1991 when I priced a truck from them that I had a woman who didn't know how to do it. they it seems are only trained to sell things off their lot.

Sales people are rude and try to overcharge and stick prices in when they think your not paying attention, little do they know I work in the auto industry. Same goes for the service of a vehicle and the people who work back there. BEWARE..they will try to charge you for services your car DOES NOT NEED! I recommend anyone to find another dealer other than these crooks here!

Their people are incredibly friendly. I bought a new truck and was in and out in one hour. Lived up to their advertised price, which is more then I can say for a lot of other dealers I shopped... I send all my friends there.

This dealership would not honor the 3-20-03 promotional add, nor would they honor the current Chrysler discount on a RAM 1500. I couldn't believe it!! I was so frustrated, I just left. My advice, BUYER BEWARE!

Leased a truck in 99 and getting ready to trade that in for another vehicle. It was my first lease and the finance department and sales rep did a good job helping me understand what would work best for my situation. It was my first new vehicle ever. I have visited the service department several times for routine maintenance. Always prompt with the service. No concerns ever. Many times I leave my vehicle in the morning and the shuttle service takes me to work and picks me up. Mitch is very nice in service and stays in contact. Really like the new place. It is awesome. I now have a new job, but I take the time to travel over an hour to use Krane service. I live in Reford, work in Detroit. I would take a day off to go to Krane because they are the only dealer I trust. I have recommended Krane to many people.

Jeff and Mitch in service are very personable and really care about the customer. Krane has a shuttle service that provides the customer to be dropped off for lunch or taken home if they prefer not to wait at facility. Mitch Krane went all out to provide a beautiful atmosphere for his customers in the facility. I love the cappuccino and popcorn. It is a favorite of my kids as well. There is a very nice little play room within viewing distance for the parents that kids love to use. Talk about customer service, I have never been to a dealer that offered the use of a computer and free internet service to all customers while they wait. What a nice touch. It gave us the opportunity to get caught up on our emails, which we do not always have the time to do at home. That is how I found this site and wanted to share my insight with consumers. We have purchased 3 new and 1 used vehicle from Krane Chrysler Dodge. I have also recommended this dealer to friends and family that lead to another 3 purchases. The personnel are always upbeat and friendly, never failing to say hello and share a few moments of their time, even if you are not their customer. Krane has a customer service follow-up team that never fails to contact us within a few days of our visit to be sure we were happy with our experience. Again, we get this same treatment whether we were just in and purchased a car, or a routine oil change. Would I buy or service my vehicles again with Krane, you bet. They have won clients for life. I highly recommend you give them a try. If you do go in, say hi to Diane and Stacey, the customer service representative and cashier right in front of the customer lounge. They love kids!!!!!! You will not go wrong with Krane.

Krane Chrysler Dodge is the most customer friendly dealership I have ever visited. I have 4 family members that have service performed there. Based on my service experience my family and future son-in-law have purchased 4 vehicles among us. I have also recommended to my son-in-law and they will be buying a new Durango this month. The sales staff is very nice. They treat us like family. Krane has a new facility that is awesome-complete with a child's playroom that keeps them entertained. The cappuccino and fresh popcorn is delicious. Love the courtesy carwash we get with every service visit. The porter always is ready to bring our vehicle in to us so we do not have to search the lot. KRANE goes above and beyond the FIVE STAR awarded to them by DaimlerChrysler. You have to experience them first hand. You will never go anywhere else.

I was told that a brand new 3500 Quad cab 4x4 had a "couple hundred miles on it, and could not be sold on the employee purchase plan. I checked the price of a similar, but a little more expensive truck at another dealer and went to look at the other dealer. Krane was on my way so I stopped to see if they were lying, or if the truck did indeed have miles on it. A salesman came out and told me that the truck was "BRAND NEW" and that I could buy it as an E/P deal. Then he proceeded to quote me a price about $100 more than the E/P price of a truck that cost about $700 more! He would not show me the window sticker of the other truck that was more expensive, and told me that I was getting the bed liner for free, and offered the truck at a price that another dealer could beat by $1000. The dealer that beat his price told me the free bedliner cost me about $290. Krane? NEVER!!!!!!!! I've had one experience with the service department as well and the results were similar!

Ordered the truck had to wait 120 day to take delivery, that's 4 months. What's amazing is I'd ask where the truck was at and get the song and dance number. Took a order form on a new ford there asked why I should wait any longer for the truck. Had the truck 4 days latter. Mitch the owner is a snake oil sales man.

  I ORDERED my truck and waited for it to come in, after it came in they let people test drive my truck. I thought I bought it for me not them. When I mentioned it to them it was like no big deal.  They backed my truck into a tree with low branches and the branches scratched and wore off paint in some areas again it was no big deal. Also when I filled out my credit application they asked if I wanted life and disability insurance. My answer NO. Then the day I pick up my truck my monthly payment is $30.00 more a month, why because they put the insurance on the contract. Now I had just given them a check for $14700.00 and told them again I did not want the insurance and they told me that they would credit my account with Chrysler in 8 to 10 WEEKS. Can you believe that??? Well it's true The only reason I went to this dealer is because they are local. But I'll never buy another vehicle from them.
