Sales=Fair, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
I have a 2001 dakota quad cab 4x4, 72000 miles covered for a few more days under the 5 year 100k extended warranty. I will preface this story with short lemon story. When new for first 2 years Miloch had truck as much as I did. When driving the entire dash would shut down, all gauges, radio, air, lights, the only thing running was the engine. Scared the wife to death. This happened all the time to her, never to Milosch. We even carried a camera in the truck to video the problem. Milosch finally believed her and then spent more than any lemon law would allow, trying to fix the problem. Replacing every computer, fuse, wiring harness, dash panel, ignition system, they tore this truck apart on every visit.. Of course every time was " we fixed it, it was the blah blah blah" time and time again. We were well into the lemon law replacement, they had one last chance before we got a new truck (or my money back, which I wanted). They brought in people from the tech center in Auburn Hills, Mi. After 2 weeks we got it back fixed. Badly beaten, totally violated over and over again, but finally fixed.
Several weeks ago the trans was shifting funny, and I could feel something wrong with the front end. I could feel every little bump through the steering wheel.We wanted to get it looked at before the warranty ran out. Took it to Milosch, they had it for a couple days. Rebuilt the transmission, rear end and lubricated and tightened the steering knuckle bearing or something. I thought is was ball joints or tie rod ends. Nope, it was not that. I paid the deductible and we were on our way. The steering was abnormally tight, like they purposely over tighten every thing,it was almost like no power steering. After a few days my wife tells me that at 1500 rpm she can hear a hum from the rear end. I drove it and could not get it to do it. A few days later we were together and I could hear it. Over a few days the hum got louder and constant when moving. We took back to Milosch. Ask them to check it out. Steering abnormally tight, but still feel the bumps, like a bad ball joint, and the hum from the rear end. They keep the truck for a day, and inform me the hum was a bad power steering pump which they replaced under ext warranty but the 65% bad tie rod end would not be covered. I paid my deductible again and we were on our way. Guess what, we were not even out of the lot when I could hear the hum form the rear end. I let them know and we would bring it back after the week end. Third visit (same problem) This time they had truck over night and would give us a car, over night led to a week and there was a problem with the rear end they had worked on 2 visits ago, "something had given way after they worked on it" (I still have his quote saved in my voice mail) Well now they had to completely replace rear end parts, gears, and housing. It will be a few days. Week later we pick up our truck. They wanted another deductible. I almost blew a gasket. I spoke the service counter guy, Kevin Benvenuti, who would have to ask the manager Jim Gentry, who "did me a favor by waiving the deductible". WOW. thanks. How about giving me the deductible back from the 2nd visit, which they finished hanging parts from the first visit. Jim Gentry is a terrible service manager with no evident skills. He spoke to me for 10 minutes as if he was looking at my history, when I asked a question he could not answer he needed my name spelling to look up my account. He is paid to DENY everything. It took them 3 visits to fix 2 issues I brought it in for on my 1st visit. Then charged me for all 3 visits. Is there no accountability? Does Daimler Chrysler pay them to hang parts and perform the same warranty tasks multiple times due to incompetent mechanics? Do we wonder why Toyota is kicking our butts? I will never buy another Dodge and tell anyone who will listen to avoid Milosch dodge and Palace Chrysler (both owned the the Milosch family). Another writer says they wish Milosch would get a new building, I wish they would get their dealership yanked.
Oh Yeah, the visor has been tightened several times, now stripped. They are real sorry about that. The drivers power seat has lots of play, replaced once, now is "normal".

Sales=Good, Service=Good,
Had to haggle a little. Don't bother with a trade-in (what a rip-off). Service is OK. May take two trips to get it right. Bought 2 trucks from them, and will buy again. Can't wait for them to update their dealership (very old buildings).
