Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=No,
Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
I just purchase a new Ram 2500 from Northwest Dodge; my salesman?s name was
Harry Lane. I went in to the Dealership with a list of the options and the codes
for those options, and showed them what I wanted. I continued to ask about not
seeing one of the options for the radio on the paperwork from which the truck
was ordered, and repeatedly was told that it was included in the optional radio.
After I took delivery of the truck, I found out that it had not been fully prepped
by the dealer, nor equipped as I wanted to be. I ended up having to take my
time out of my day to finish their job of installing and setting up the satellite
radio, setting up the Navigation system, and inflating the tires including the
spare. The next morning I discovered that one of the options that I ordered
was not there. I took the truck back immediately, some 14 hours later with only
5 miles added to the odometer. Harry did not even come out to look at it, he
simply told me that I was costing him, and that he was ?working on it?. It been
three months now, and now I am taking this problem up with the manufacture.
Had Harry Lane followed DCX?s quality and delivery policy, we would not have
had the problems I am having. Further more, instead of taking care of the customer,
I have been tossed aside like a used Kleenex. Instead of a pleasant buying experience,
it has been a nightmare. Avoid this dealership like the plaque. I am letting
all of my friends in the building trades know not to do business with Northwestern
Dodge.
The Dodge Ram is a very nice truck. Just make sure you purchase from a dealer
that follows DCX policies, and remember, "5-star" means nothing to
you. All of my problems are from a 5 star dealer. I recommend Blue Bonnet Dodge
in Texas, see Jim Belt and you wont have the problems I am having to deal with.
