After a recent accident, I unexpectedly found myself having to buy a car. This
process can be a difficult and frustrating time for most people. That is why
I chose Dodge of Burnsville. They have been just excellent to me over the years.
I have always experienced sincerity and care for my needs each time I visit
them. The knowledgeable sales staff is easy to work with, taking extra time
for my needs and answering all of my questions. The selection and pricing of
the vehicles is worth your time to stop by and check out. The business office
manager was pleasant and very nice to deal with. He made the whole experience
easy to understand and answered all my questions. I would strongly recommend
this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle.

We bought our 2003 Ram and found out when we got it home that oil had not been
changed. After bringing the truck back and asking for them to change the oil
they refused. The sales manager then stated the oil was changed in July, which
was 5 months ago. Well, we all know darn well that if we as owners hadn't changed
our oil in 5 months and had a problem with the truck, Dodge would not cover
it because oil is supposed to be changed every 3 months (or)3,000 miles. I will
not be bringing my truck back there to service it nor will I buy another vehicle
there. On a positive note though, our sales person that helped us did an alright
job when selecting the vehicle. And i agree with the other posting on this page
that the finance manager got mad at us also for not taking the extended warranty!
He was a jerk!

We bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT from Dodge of Burnsville on the 11th of December.
The truck has been in the shop ever since (as of 12/21), at Bemidji Chrysler
Center. The vehicle was in originally for a frozen throttle and it was severely
misaligned. Bemidji Chrysler has been unable to align the vehicle to spec. This
raised a flag with me, so I ran a Carfax vehicle history report. We had asked
Burnsville Dodge for a Carfax report before buying the vehicle, but they said
they don't run Carfax on any vehicles and instead inspect all vehicles with
a 120 point safety inspection. Well, I ran the Carfax and it came back with
a "Severe accident, airbags deployed" accident on it's record. Bemidji
can't get the vehicle into alignment (bent frame?). The accident report indicates
this vehicle T-boned another at 50+ mph. The vehicle is so bad that if you let
go of the steering wheel at 65 mph you're into the opposing lane of traffic
in no time!! How could that get past the "120 point safety inspection"
that the salesman bragged about?!?!? I can't believe a 5-star dealership would
sell a vehicle this unsafe. This problem wasn't apparent during the test drive
because the salesman kept us on surface streets where the speed limit was 30
mph. I wonder why that was?? The salesman also knew very little to nothing about
the vehicle in general, had no clue what the fuel economy was, etc. Needless
to say I am not happy at all. I won't buy another vehicle at Burnsville Dodge
as long as I live!!

Bought used car from them. Didn't get 1/4 of the way home and the alternator
went out. Called back and talked with Sales person who set up a Tow truck and
they came and got the vehicle and took it back to the dealership and fixed without
expense to me. Got car back the next week and runs great. Son loves his Stratus,
I was a little worried about other problems with the car but so far so good..

I bought a 2003 Ram from them. I was happy up until I meet the finance manager.
What an JERK! After making me wait over an hour to see him, he quotes me an
interest rate that almost knocked me out of my chair. I work for a bank and
knew I was getting taken for a ride. He also refused to checkout another finance
place saying this was the best he could get me. I left, went to my bank, got
4% less. And came back with the check. Then he has the nerve to lecture me about
not getting an extended warranty. If I didn't get such a great price on the
truck, I would have punched the guy in the nose and walked out.
Never trust finance managers. They get kickbacks and you pay for it!

After asking to speak to a sales rep on the showroom floor, I waited over 30
minutes - nobody ever came. None of the staff showed an interest in helping
this motivated buyer.
