Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
Me and my husband have recently tried buying a new car from crown motors. We
ordered our great new Dodge Caliber in the third week of July 2006. We had only
been married for a month and a half but we had the to have a new car. We were
told we would have our new car in 6 to 8 weeks and to day is September 28th
and still no car. What is going on? Are we getting the run around or did we
just do business with the wrong people. The lady we talked with was great, don't
get me wrong, but how can they say 6 to 8 weeks and let us wait this long and
only contact us twice and once was after leaving two messages. What is going
on, and what are we supposed to do?

don't let this labruyere guy fool you, if you knew what he didn't disclose,
then the picture would be clear. when a vehicle has been out mudding and in
the mud pits, that is abuse. when the rear end bolts are sheared off from yanking
or pulling that is abuse. the dealership paid for
it the first time, but they aint no dummy, abuse is abuse. did he bother to
tell you that he bought all of his parts at the dealership too ? probably not.
does that tell you something ? sure they show jeeps going through the water,
but the owners manual tells you to repack the hubs...gotta watch
out for these kind of somcumers, they would sit in a bathtub of water holding
a television set....don't blame a dealer for someone else's stupidity.

Bought brand new 2002 Jeep! Broke down and they supposedly fixed under warranty!
Two weeks later broke down again and this time they said vehicle had been abused
even though the same parts broke that were just replaced under warranty week
and a half earlier! Would not cover warranty on 2002 Jeep with less than 21,000
miles on it. Claimed abuse of vehicle. Just watch a Jeep commercial on TV or
look up Jeep on the web and see if you think a Jeep can be abused?? It appears
from their ads that a Jeep can go anywhere? Not true! All they have to do is
say they think it was abused and they will not cover warranty!
Very poor service when warranty is not covered on vehicle with less than 21,000
miles and service department is highly suspect! We have taken the vehicle to
other mechanics and they claim this should have been covered by warranty! Chrysler/Jeep
rep had no balls and was almost afraid to say anything except what the dealer
mechanic had already said! Will never purchase another chrysler/jeep product
of any kind!

Sales=Poor, Service=Avoid,
We have been to Crown Motors for several times. We have attempted to look at
cars/trucks there, but no salesmen took the bother to talk to us or to provide
any decent information. My father has a Dodge Ram Diesel, which during a visit
to us last summer, unfortunately got a tank of bad diesel and had his truck
towed to Crown. They charged over $600.00 to drain the tank and changed the
fuel filter, which they did a lousy job as he had to do it again after filling
up a second time. That unfortunately experience and their EXTREME slowness caused
my father 3 days extra of his vacation. Our personal experience is on our '97
truck, which my husband took in to have it fixed, as we knew what the problem
was, but didn't know how to fix it. They told them EXACTLY what the problem
was, and all they did was charge us $60.00 dollars to test drive it and pronounce
it "fixed." My husband didn't even get off the parking lot when it acted up
again. My husband took the truck home, and in under one hour, fixed what they
claimed they had fixed. We know the quality of mechanics that work there, and
they are not of high quality. We will never return a vehicle there, and most
likely will not ever try again to purchase from them.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
Every problem I have had with my 99 grand Cherokee has been taken care of professionally
and in a timely matter. Even when out of factory warranty the service contract
I have has taken care of all the problems no questions asked.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
My daughter took her car there for a recall replacement on the lower lateral
ball joints. Now it has a hole in the C.V. Boot. Their reason - she ran over
something. Yeah, right, try to duplicate that in a lab. No way something is
going to go straight up and hit the boot. I know what happened, the mechanic's
pry bar slipped and went through the boot.
