The guys there are great! I had service problems with the vehicle I owned for three years. I decided to trade it in and they worked really hard to get me the payment I needed. The service in the service department was great also. They took really good care of me.

Don't waste your time here. The sales people here could care less. They won't bother to listen to what you say (It seems they love the sound of their own voice too much.) If you give them a price range and preference of options they will do their best to find a vehicle that is neither and tell you its what you need. After days of phone calls and sales pitches, they promise and can't deliver. Never saw such a place. The only thing worse is the service department, wall jobs and outright fraud. They can fix everything but what you took it in for, and usually do!!!!! They have been able to fix the cash register though and keep it well oiled. I don't mind giving my name and phone number and if anyone cares to call I'll be glad to give you the whole story.

Worked the deal over the phone. Then drove 2.5 hours from St. Louis to the dealer. No surprises, truck was ready, paperwork all in order, and nobody pushed me for extended warranties or any of that stuff. Was in & out in 30-45 minutes. Very pleasant buying experience.

My vehicle is not a truck it is a Dodge Neon. In the beginning I was to purchase a 2003 vehicle with a rebate etc. The sales representative called me at my home in Farmington Mo. about an hour drive away and told me to come and pick up my vehicle. My husband and I went to Poplar Bluff to pick up our new vehicle, after we arrived there the car salesman informed us that he had made a error and could not let us have the car for the price and payments we had agreed on but he had a used vehicle that would be in our price range, after him talking us into taking the used car because we were in a predicament that my daughter was in school in the city and needed something economical to drive we finally gave in to purchase the used Neon. At that time it was in agreement that they would put a new spoiler on the car for free, fix the airbag light and the horn as it did not work. every time we have attempted to get these things fixed it does not happen, no parts available or some story like that. we also told the in the beginning about 2 weeks after we had it the brakes were not working but they said the checked them and they were fine. Eventually the back brakes locked up and the pieces fell out on the street while I was driving in town slowly. also the front brakes went out and had to be replaced. i have been making payments of 265, a month and still owe around 7,900. I guess you are wondering how this car passed inspection well the dealership passed it and said not to worry the would fix the things wrong with it. I should have took it to a state patrol and turned them in, but trying to have faith they would do what they said I didn't. Now today, I had made an appointment with Larry Hillis DODGE to fix these things because guess what 2 yrs have passed and I have to get my license renewed but when my husband took the car down well again they didn't have the parts and now they want to charge for the things they promised to fix. No I would not trust these people again and they should be found out about so they could not do to other people what they have done to me. If there is someone else to notify please let me know. i am very unhappy with this whole situation. I was lied to and received a lemon too. thank you If you could help me with this situation I would appreciate someone caring.

I have purchased two vehicles at this particular dealership. The 1st one I purchased was at least 5 years ago and I have never had to replace anything on it except the alternator. It currently has 200,000 miles on it and has been donated to a younger family member. My newest purchase was a used Pontiac Grand Prix GT. The sales staff was very efficient and relatively easy to deal with. We had some issue about price and trade in which their manager resolved immediately. I would say this has been a very good experience. I think when you buy here you can have piece of mind that you are purchasing a quality product at a competitive price.

Sales=Don't Know, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Yes,
Purchased a Chrysler Town and Country from Larry Hillis. On two occasions we have had to have service, other than oil changes, done on our van. The first instance was our driver side window. It messed up within a week of us purchasing the vehicle, but the dealership couldn't figure out what was wrong with it (I took it each time it messed up). It kept getting stuck (down) and finally when it wouldn't come back up again (and the warranty had ran out for basic maintenance) they decided that the motor had burned out on my automatic window. We replaced it at the cost of 200.00 dollars, they were unwilling to work with us.
The latest instance was when they sent a recall out on my van and it started messing up. I took it in, told the service department what was wrong, and they charged me 58.00 to tell me what was wrong and they could fix it for $1100.00. They said they ran the VIN number and nothing came back on it. I called the headquarters of Chrysler Dodge and they were surprised that the dealership didn't have the recall letter and that I was making the call to get it for the service department. They faxed me the letter and I took it to the dealership when I went to collect my unfixed van.
They give you the run around and act like they don't know you when you call in to question them about your vehicle.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Poor,
I bought a 1999 Intrepid (in the summer of 2000) here that was supposedly a one owner car and that owner was one of the salesmen who worked there. (Not the guy who sold it to me) The car is about 4 hrs. from where I live but I was supposed to be getting a really good deal, a 'friend' was the person who told me about the car and it was exactly what I'd wanted, color and everything. I brought the car home and of course it hit 36,000 miles on the way home, voiding the warranty! I didn't even have the car in my name or the taxes paid and the driver door window motor went out on me and I took it to Zeiser Dodge in St. Peters and they fixed it for me free of charge!! Then, a week later, the A/C quit working, so back to Zeiser I went and they fixed that for me too, free!! Zeiser is a good dealer from what I've experienced but Larry Hillis refused to do anything for me about all of this, and next thing I know, the plastic on the driver door in the corner where the door ! meets the body has a huge crack in it, now (this car isn't even 3 yrs old yet!) the driver door window won't roll up unless I pull up and back on it and hold onto it while guiding it into the track, there is a spot in the center of the front dash where the 'plastic' or whatever it is is actually cracking and peeling like the car's 30 years old!!! AND the A/C doesn't work again this summer!!! I love the Intrepid for the handling, room and looks but if they're all made this way, it makes me sad to say I'll never buy another one because I love everything about it except they just don't seem to be made well or Larry Hillis Dodge just sold me a lemon!! P.S. This dealer screwed over my aunt who bought a used Blazer from them and 2 wks. later, the transmission went out on it and they wouldn't do a thing about it-NOTHING. She had to take out a loan to get it fixed!!!!!!!!!
