My Dodge truck has run horrible since the day I bought it. I was warned about Dodge before I bought. The people seemed sincere. 5 service calls in less than a month of owning the truck for me was enough. One of those on vacation and wrote the dealership and Daimler Chrysler and was ignored (more than once -no response to any of my calls or writings). On vacation less then 2 months of owning the vehicle, I am out of town without a vehicle. They know the problem and can't fix their own cars. Tell me after two day's. (no free rental) Would you buy a Daimler/Chrysler? Never again. I am in a fix now. They can't and will not stand behind their vehicles. I can not afford to go back to a ford or other brand!!! My problem was never fixed and they refused to respond to me. The cars and trucks should state buy at your own risk. My warranty just went out 2 months. My truck needs over $1000.00 worth of work. Give me a break! The truck was bought 3 years ago and the big issue didn't qualify under the lemon law.
Hint: Buy elsewhere!!!!

Wonderful service part! I called in the morning and they got me in that day. My van was finished by 5:00. The part is clean. The people are very nice. We will be doing all our service at Westport not Marty Cancila's

Have been taking my 98 Grand Caravan there. They solved a perplexing door lock problem (caused by driver door look switch--probably damaged in prev owner accident). No pressure to "add on" services. Recently discouraged me from having a clicking steering column investigated because I couldn't get it to happen again. May have been right--a lot of diagnostic work might have turned up nothing. But the clicking problem came back and now the darn thing won't start and it's sitting in a Walgreen's parking lot. Time to call the tow truck... Yes I'm taking it back there. Hopefully now they can reproduce it since it wont' even start!!

motor burned up less in one year had a bunch of crap from service dept they are a**clowns

I purchased a Ram 2500 from Westport Dodge and had a wonderful experience. There was never any pressure from my salesman and I really felt at ease throughout the entire process. The customer service after the sale has been tremendous. I've taken my Ram into the Service Department a couple of times for Lube, Oil and Filter. Everyone at the dealership is very friendly and I will definitely be purchasing another car there in the future.

Had service for high oil usage and gear noise (5/14/99). They replaced the intake manifold gasket and rear end gears and bearings. Now there is an occasional feeling of something hitting (slapping against) the floor board that wasn't there before service. Have to take it back.

I just completed a wonderful transaction at Westport. Our salesman was competent and through. The best aspect of this sale was the closer. Absolutely no pressure to "add on" at the end. He went the extra mile for us to secure excellent financing. He was very clear about our responsibilities without being condescending. This was a painless used car purchase. I'll keep this site posted regarding service at Westport.
