I thought it only fair to post this since I gave some bad reviews the other
day. I found this site while searching for the dealers webpage. I posted truthful
comments about my experience then, and what I encountered today. Although I
said I would never go back, I decided I would have them do my 20K mile check
since it involved Dodge items which I really don't trust to the local mech.
I left a message on the service page requesting the first avail date/time for
my service. I was emailed back with an 8 am apt. I took a holiday from work
fully expecting to spend at least half the day in the waiting room. After leaving
my car with the service rep (Terry) I was called in at 9:16 - my car was finished
and ready. Although the service was little more than an oil change and tire
rotation, there was a complaint I had left about an odd wheel sound. The wheel
sound could not be found, the services asked for were delivered and I'm okay
with the way I was treated and serviced. I plan on returning to this dealer
for my 30k check with local shops doing the tire and oil changes in the meantime.
I rate my service visit at an 8 (1-10) and not a 10 because the price was rather
high ($163.00)

Bought my Truck( 2002 2500 Quad cab short box diesel) from these folks. The
Sales staff was extra nice to me while buying the truck. During the deal we
agreed on they would install factory Dodge fog lamps. The appointment was setup.
I was to come back that Saturday and get them put on by an Accessory dealer
just up the road because their service department was closed on Saturday. When
I got home I noticed first thing I had no inspection sticker. I called them
the next day and the scheduled me to come in on Saturday to have the inspection
sticker put on. I drove out there to have the inspections sticker put on and
lights installed, first the inspection station ran out of stickers, second the
place they sent me to ordered pilot brand lights. This was not the agreement
and was not satisfactory. I went back to the Dealer and talked to the Sales
manager, that said it would be taken care of first thing Monday Morning. Monday
12:00 PM came and no call, so I called the salesman. He said they were working
on it. 4:00P.M Monday afternoon, still no word. Called back and they said they
were going to order the lights when they found the part. I was mad at this point
and called Fred Anderson, the owner. I received a call back from Jason Petty
the next day. He said, " What is your problem?", in a hateful tone. I told him
my problem, and he said, "They are on order, so what's the problem?" I told
him I did not appreciate the way they were doing me and he said, " I got your
parts on order what else do you expect?" I just did not argue at that point.
Scheduled the service with Terry Ottis in the service department. Terry was
very nice and went the extra way to make sure things happened. Got my truck
back and everything works and looks good. I would not buy anything else at Anderson
because of my Sales experience there. They are good to you until after you sign
the papers. If I were in the Asheville area I would drive to Burnsville or Marion
to buy a new truck.
