I took my truck in to have a differential plug replaced. After they had it in for 45 minutes they came out to tell me that my transmission would not go into gear. (Why wait so long to come tell me?) I have never had problems with this transmission going into gear. Before they even gave me a price or get my permission they had a serviceman who didn't know transmissions tearing it apart. They didn't even have anyone that had transmission experience. My opinion is that they did something to my transmission so they could charge me more that the $20 to fix the plug. They didn't have the parts that they said they needed. I was stranded 3 days in a motel waiting on the parts. When the parts finally came they couldn't fix it. I than had to pay for a towed to a city transmission who got me on the road in 2 hours. I felt Asheville Dodge wanted to rip me off because I was from out of town. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were very unconcerned about the hardship it put on me, they didn't care about how long it was taking. During my stay I spoke with lots of local people and none had anything good to say of them. Thanks to City Transmission I am finally home. They were fast, friendly and concerned, at a reasonable cost. My advise to you is don't take anything to Asheville Dodge!

Sent there by Chrysler factory for warranty service they were rude and said "we didn't sell it. we won't service it, WE DON'T HAVE TO". If you want to be treated this way buy several cars from them. Bad or worse!
Do not risk having your vehicle tied to these people unless you want stress and grief!

I was always give an honest answer to questions I had, and if they did not have the answer, someone found the answer to my question. Even if this meant calling me at home and letting me know after I had left. Ray Nuzo in the service department is one of Asheville Dodge's biggest assets. He has always went the extra mile to insure my service trips from Cherokee, NC (40 mile trip, 1-way) was as short as possible, and that I received everything my truck needed. I send all my friends and co-workers to Ash. Dodge when looking for a new truck.
I feel that Asheville Dodge has gone out of there way to insure customers are treated fairly.

I have emailed and called Asheville Dodge and was there in person also. I told them what I wanted and told them I wanted to buy ASAP. I've been put off and put off. They don't return my emails. They always come up with excuses that we had a problem with our server. Yeah right!! Well any of you other Dodge dealers reading this want to sell me a new vehicle now then email me now. I'll buy one from you. Not from Asheville Dodge. Don't waste your time like i did at Asheville Dodge.
Don't buy at Asheville Dodge.

We were visiting from Atlanta and our 98 Cummins had a transfer case problem. We had it towed to Asheville Dodge, thank God! They were able to jump on the problem right away. While we were waiting, we test drove a new one and my husband fell in love with it. Within 20 minutes, they gave us the lowest price that we had seen as well as a great number on our old one. We bought that day and are finally back home. We look forward to coming back to Asheville on vacation next year, and seeing the great crew at Asheville Dodge again. They really care about their customers and helping people like us out.

Had purchased our 2002 Ram from a competing dealer, and had it serviced at Asheville Dodge. They found several causes to a service problem that our other dealer couldn't find. There were also several recalls that our other dealer didn't even do! We were very satisfied with the service experience at Asheville. They have definitely earned their 5 Star service rating with us. We were also involved in their tires for life program, which they ended up putting new tires on my truck for free when it needed them. We were so impressed that we bought my wife's Durango from them. They showed us the invoice and that's what we paid. We also got the rebate on the vehicle and were very impressed by the entire buying experience. What an awesome dealership. Derek Boos the General Sales Manager helped us through every step. My sister is from Atlanta, and she will be buying her next new dodge in Asheville.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Don't Know,
From some of the things I've heard, this kind of thing happens a lot. I bought a used 2000 Neon from this place. The day I took delivery of the vehicle I signed all the customary paperwork and went of my way. About 2 days later, I received a call at my place of employment from the dealership's "special financing manager". He stated to me that there had been a problem and that I needed to come by the dealership that afternoon. In a nutshell, I bought this car based on a good interest rate and a payment I could live with. What I ended up with was a higher payment and a MUCH higher interest rate from one of the many finance companies (fake banks). My gut told me to tell them to forget the whole thing but I felt as if I was basically trapped. I have heard similar stories about Asheville Dodge (some almost coming to blows). Oh and on top of what I just stated, I was told that I "had" to buy an extended warranty which I had earlier stated that I wasn't interested in as I do my own repairs. "A condition tacked on by the Fake Bank", or so I was told. Overall, I just think the whole thing was wrong and maybe bent a law or two. In my view, what this whole thing amounts to is the dealer selling the same car to the same person twice. In one particular case I've heard of, the customers where told that they ran their credit through 29 times. In that case, Asheville Dodge found themselves with a returned vehicle. These same customers went to a competitor the next day, had their credit ran 2 times and drove home a comparable vehicle. There is something amiss at Asheville Dodge. If your finding this post before you make your purchase, BEWARE...

Bought a 2003 Ram 1500 from Asheville Dodge and had the very best experience that I have ever had at any dealer. I thought they were filming the commercial, and I was on it! They went the extra mile for me with pricing and the amount they gave me for my trade was $3,000 more than the dealer in Hendersonville, NC did. Would tell all of my friends and neighbors to buy from these guys, they make it so easy.

Sales=Good, Service=Avoid,
I bought a new 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 here same year. In the time since I have repeated taken it in for service. Some problems were evident on initial delivery of the vehicle. Never have I received even close to satisfactory service here. Complaints get you, "I'm sorry, will do better", but they never do. I now take my truck to a dealership in Burnsville, NC, which is a small town thirty minutes away. I have gotten much better service there, but hate to have to drive out of town, when my local dealer would be so near. If I should buy another Dodge, which I do happen to favor, it would never be from Asheville Dodge.

Sales=Excellent, Service=Excellent,
They have a good service dept. Have a well trained tech that works on diesels. His name is George.

Dealership Rating:
Good sales department, good service
Fair sales, fair service
Conflicting or not enough information
Poor Service or Poor Sales Department
Avoid like the plague!!
