Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=Maybe,
in 2003 i wanted to buy a dodge ram 1500, but the sales rep couldn't find the keys that night and told me to come back the next day at 10am. when i showed up at 10am someone else was out test driving the truck, i went to chevy and bought a car. yesterday i went back to this same dealer and wanted to buy a minivan, the sales rep was extremely helpful and polite, but his sales manager was rude and treated me like an idiot. He also tried to under bid my car by 2000 from the other dealers, and tried to tell me that i had a transmission problem, assuming i know nothing about cars.
Little did he know that my car has been appraised by three other dealers, and was fine,and was complimented on my cars condition, especially by the dealer just an hour prior to coming to his. this manager was also rude with my wife as well. I suggest drive the extra 30 niles to sanford where they truly are a people's dealer and will do everything they can to help you, and you leave there feeling good about the whole experience.

Service rep. was rude and gave false information. They wasted my time and saturday off. Some guy named Tony needs to find himself a new line of work. I have used Dodge dealers for service in many areas. Crown in Fayetteville is by far the bottom of the barrel.

Sales=Avoid, Service=Poor, Parts=Don't Know, bought there=Yes, scv_there=Yes, Buy_DaimlerChrysler_again=No,
We bought a vehicle there last year and while the truck was what we wanted, we hated the way we were treated. When I did have a problem with the truck, it took forever to get it fixed. We were without the truck for a week and a half. We have decided we want a new truck and went to Crown since it is the only one in town and once again we were treated terribly. We have decided we will drive to Raleigh, it will be worth it. Watch out for the hidden costs, example: they will charge you for a paint protection that is no good at any other dodge dealers, not good for soldiers who may PCS. Another thing, if you are a woman, DON'T GO!! There think we are idiots that know nothing. If you are anything like me and know a little about cars, you will soon find out that you know more than the salesmen and they will be very offended by that. I suggest you buy a FORD or shop somewhere else.

The worst sales department I have ever purchased through. The dealership has hit rock bottom since changing ownership. The past owner (Dickerson Dodge) was great!! The sales manager is a scam artist. I highly recommend traveling elsewhere to purchase a Dodge vehicle.

Parts department is wonderful. No hassle on making printouts and searching for the obscure.

05experience=A big waste of time, poor follow up from sales dept. I tried to deal directly with the sales manager after letting him know of the problem, told him up front what I wanted and could afford and asked him to not waste my time if he was unable to make the deal. He also wasted a bunch of my time and was very sarcastic. I would NOT deal with them again.

Sales=Poor, Service=Don't Know, bought there=No, scv_there=No,
This dealership was known Dickenson Dodge. Dickenson Dodge was bought out this past fall. I have bought 2 3500s from Dickenson. The sales person (Bill Steffner) made the transaction very pleasant. I was interested in buying an 03'. However, when I drove onto the lot I was met by a salesman who informed me of the recent change of dealer ownership. After the shock wore off I proceeded by asking if they had any of the new (03)1-ton trucks of the lot. Now most sales people know that a 1-ton truck and a 3500 series trucks are the same. This sales person had no clue what I was talking about. I then asked if my favorite salesman was in. He reported that when Dickenson Dodge was bought they fired all of the old sales people. This guy not only had no clue as to what a 1-ton truck was, but he also informed me that they would no longer carry the 3500's in stock and that all would be ordered. Time to look for a new dealer.
Make sure you take an interpreter with you if you plan on buying a truck from Crown Dodge. He can translate the meaning of 1-ton. Since my inquiry last Nov, I have found a new dealer (Elizabeth City, NC). Ordered my new 03 3500 from them at $100.00 above cost. These guys knew what a 1-ton truck was and since they did not have what I wanted in stock, cheerfully order the truck to my specs. Plus gave me a reasonable trade for my 2000 3500.
